FOAM (Fiber Optic Alpha Measurement) is an experiment developed to measure the fast time history of gamma ray flux generated by a nuclear explosion using multimode fiber optic techniques. When neutrons from a chain reaction in an exploding nuclear warhead collide with nuclei of atoms, gamma rays (high-energy photons) are generated. The gamma rays carry the time history which can change very rapidly, on the order of 1000 millionth of a second.

Left to right:

- Dorcy 2xAA incandescent flashlight--not very bright, but you don't always want to blind yourself

- Brinkman 3xAAA 3-LED--produces a good amount of light, but again, not going to light up a room with it. Reverse "clicky" on the tailcap

- "Gordon" (only name on the light)--2xAA incandescent, side-mounted reverse clicky

- Mini Mag-Lite--2xAA with Nite Ize LED upgrade

- No-Name 3-mode (4 if you count tailstanding as a candle) light. High-->Low-->strobe. 1x18650, not sure what kind of LED is in this one. High's blinding, Low's probably about 50% of that, strobes in high mode. Side-mounted reverse clicky.

DVIDL-2STR supports DVI-D single and dual link displays used for commercial, government and military applications.
