Basically, the Ekdahl Moisturizer is a spring reverb where the springs are exposed so they can be played/hit/fiddled with. As well as being capable of creating sound in itself, you can of course also play sound through the springs like a regular spring reverb - this makes for happy-fun-time finger-modulation of the reverb on whatever audio that's going through it. On top of this there's an analog multimode filter that can be used to attenuate or exaggerate certain frequencies in the sound, this is real handy while playing the springs as you can - for instance - cut all the highs and just make thunderous doomy sounds or do the opposite; cut all the lows and make that ear piercing high frequency special love. Also, it incorporates an LFO that's internally routable to the filter and that also has some external routing-stuff. The Ekdahl Moisturizer has tons of CV / Expression pedal options on the back for even more hillarious moments. The Moisturizer is a mono unit.

This is pretty much the story of how my day slips by before I realise it's nearly over. One of the clocks in the house has decided to go beserk and spin forward in time really quickly all day. It's automatically set by the local radio frequencies so I think it's just trying to reset. Or maybe I'm time travelling.
Either way I thought it was a good way to exemplify how my photo a day project always gets me rushing right in the last minute.

Sommerkmap FT277B for 6 bands of HF. (SSb Am CW). Standard C5800 for Two Metres Multimode. AKD7003 for 70 cms FM. FT290R via a Tokyo Hi Power Transverter for my permanent 10 metre presence. HF aerial was a long wire.
Two metres was a diamond X30 co linear and a HB9CV for SSb/CW. Ten metres was a mobile CB whip on a magmount on a biscuit tin with some groundplane elements from another aerial screwed into it. Happys days.

An AFM image of ours was included in the Veeco calendar for 2010. The description reads: "This atomic force microscopy image shows the corneal surface of a malaria-carrying mosquito eye. The eyes show an iridescence, here represented by false colour, due to these tiny natural nanostructures (150nm each). Together, the structures make a natural anti-reflection coating, helping the mosquito find its prey. This image was obtained during a test of fast scannnig, and was collected at a line rate of 20 Hz. Description of breakout fiber optic cable
Breakout fiber optic cable also can be called as distribution fiber optical cable is designed for Indoor uses. There are two types of breakout fiber cables. One is inside with 2.0/3.0mm tight buffered cables. The fiber glass cores of this cable structure commonly can reach 48 cores. The other is inside with 0.9mm tight buffered around with Kevlar yarn as strengthen support.
The cable fiber cores is 4-144 cores. The outer jacket for both type of cable is LSZH or PVC. The tensile strength for former type of fiber cable is much higher. Breakout cable is usually assembled with terminations to be a breakout or fan-out pigtails or path cords.
The distribution bundled pigtail fiber, also known as the tail fiber bundle, has a connector at one end and a broken end of the fiber cable at the other end. It is connected to the core of other fiber optic cables by splicing, and is often installed to connect terminal equipment in the ODF frame box, fiber terminal box. The pigtails are divided into multi-mode pigtails and single-mode pigtails. The multimode pigtail is orange with a wavelength of 850 nm and a transmission distance of 500 m for short-distance interconnection. The single-mode pigtail is yellow with two wavelengths, 1310nm and 1550nm, and the transmission distance is 10km and 40km respectively.

SC duplex connectors have a duplexing clip, which allows each connector to be removed individually. In the event fiber polarity is reversed during termination, there’s no need to discard the connector. Simply remove connectors from the clip and switch to correct the mistake, saving valuable installation time and money. The duplexing clip also speeds troubleshooting. In the event there’s a fault with a single connection, an individual connector can be removed from the clip and re-terminated without disturbing the adjacent connector.
SC connectors employ an outer housing that is color-coded in accordance with TIA/EIA-568-B.3 and ISO/IEC 11801 Ed. 2.0 requirements (beige for multimode and blue for singlemode).
