Die Blütezeit reicht von April bis Mai. Die meist einzelnen, selten zu zweit stehenden Blüten sind nickend[3] bis nach unten hängend. Die zwittrigen, dreizähligen Blüten sind fast geruchlos und breit glockenförmig. Die sechs gleichgestaltigen, etwa 4 Zentimeter langen Perigonblätter, deren stumpfe Spitze meist etwas umgebogen ist, sind schachbrettartig purpurrot-weiß oder grünlich-weiß gefleckt. Selbst bei der völlig weißen Form Fritillaria meleagris f. alba ist die namensgebende Musterung noch schwach zu erkennen.
The flowering period runs from April to May. The mostly single, rarely in pairs standing flowers are nodding [3] to hanging down. The hermaphrodite, threefold flowers are almost odorless and wide bell-shaped. The six equal multiform, about 4 centimeters long tepals whose blunt tip is usually somewhat bent, are checkerboard mottled purple-white or greenish-white. Even with the completely white form Fritillaria meleagris f. Alba the eponymous patterning is barely recognizable.

The multiforms and the signature paintings are, in essence, the same expression of basic human emotions as his surrealistic mythological paintings, albeit in a purer form.
What is common among these stylistic innovations is a concern for "tragedy, ecstasy and doom".
In this challenge, we do not want you to copy the works of Mark Rothko, but based on his work, create or recreate compositions that, although reminiscent of his style, are in a way a tribute to this unique artist.

Beech (Fagus sylvatica) is a tree belonging to the family Beech family, who first described by Swedish zoologist Linnaeus, 1753. The book is a large tree with very dense crown, smooth unfolded trunk and shiny green leaves.
The leaves, which are edible, grow flat horizontally to gather maximum light, with the result that the sun rarely reaches the tree's branches and vegetation under the trees marked by this, while boklöven decompose slowly.
The book is a multiform species are also found in a number of cultivated varieties., For example hängbok (var. Pendula) with hanging branches and copper beech (f. Purpurea) with red leaves.

From an architectual point of view Vigoleno castle consitutes a fortified complex of great interest which has maintained almost intact its original character. The castle and hamlet are to be considered as a whole defensive system and from the point of view of architectual defence, represent one of the most precious and interesting monuments that you can encounter.
The castle was constructed in the tenth century, and many times destroyed (in medieval terms "destroyed" means "made unsuitable for defence"), and was reconstructed in its present form on preceding boundaries in 1389. The formidable "rivellino", with it powerful entrance tower on quadrangular plan remains a rare example of a fortified access point.
With mixed fortunes, it was conquered on subsequent periods by the Pallavicino, the Visconti, the Farnese and (at the time of Duca Ottavio) by the Scotti.
Between the two world wars, Vigoleno welcomed famous people and reached international fame due to the duchess Maria di Grammont, born princess Ruspoli, who restored the castle and welcomed in it actors, poets, writers and the "bel mondo" of those roarin years. Amongst the people which were welcomed here were, the pianter and master of surrealism Max Ernst , the multiform genius Jean Cocteau, the 'prima donna' of the cinema Mary Pikford, the writer Elsa Maxwell, D'Annunzio and the pianist Arthur Rubinstein.

RITRATTO DI BAMBINO RIFUGIATO TIBETANO IN LADAKH
PORTRAIT OF A TIBETAN REFUGEE CHILD IN LADAKH
Nel 2009 ho intrapreso uno (straordinario, per me) viaggio in Ladakh. Luogo di una magia e di una durezza al contempo assolutamente uniche, che mi ha lasciato un'impronta indelebile.
Tra i molti volti che non riuscirei a dimenticare neppure volendo, c'è quello, lievemente malinconico, di questo bambino, che ho fotografato in occasione della mia visita alla Scuola elementare per bambini rifugiati tibetani a Sumdho. Molti sono i rifugiati tibetani in Ladakh, regione himalayana buddhista sotto amministrazione indiana estremamente affine al Tibet sotto l'aspetto culturale, tanto da essere chiamato "Piccolo Tibet". I bambini che studiano in questa scuola elementare sono, dal punto di vista delle loro famiglie, dei privilegiati: forse non vedranno spesso i loro familiari, risiedendo presso la scuola, ma si presume che sia loro garantita una scodella di orzo su base quotidiana. Vita e sopravvivenza insieme. E in condizioni climatiche inimmaginabili: a questo proposito, basti guardare l'epidermide del viso, tipicamente bruciata dall'alternanza caldo-gelo dei 4.500m di quota. Ci sono 30 gradi (minimo) di escursione termica giornaliera in estate e buoni 60 gradi di escursione termica tra estate e inverno, per intenderci.
Non intendo minimamente fare qui politica, ma concentrarmi sullo sguardo antico in questi occhi, come credo sia giusto. La mia attenzione era ed è per l'essere umano innanzitutto.
Per chiunque fosse interessato a fornire un aiuto concreto al Ladakh e ai suoi abitanti, in particolare nell'area dello Zanskar, dove la cultura tibetana si è miracolosamente preservata, consiglio di rivolgersi a questa associazione, di cui per esperienza diretta posso garantire l'assoluta serietà:
Si occupa da decenni di garantire l'istruzione a centinaia di bambini in una scuola modello nella Valle dello Zanskar, assicurando l'insegnamento della cultura locale in lingua locale e avvalendosi esclusivamente di personale (docente e non docente) del posto. Il tutto in piena trasparenza.

...gli aspetti multiformi della roccia e del verde in eterna lotta con la forza schiumosa del mare, l'azzurro delle acque, così trasparente da gareggiare con quello del cielo tagliato dal volo dei gabbiani o la stessa miriade di uccelli immobili come statuette di gesso posate su ogni sporgenza a controllare con sospetto le imbarcazioni sempre più vicine e più grandi...
...eccoci al porticciolo della Gallinara, in una smagliante mattinata di sole. L'occhio è attratto dalla limpidezza delle acque a tal punto che ogni minimo particolare del fondo (le alghe, i crostacei, le pietre) appaiono come attraverso una lente per ingrandimento di puro cristallo. A ridosso della roccia che scende a picco sulla banchina, in pochi metri quadrati di terra, si ammirano le mini-aiuole che sono tutto un gioco di fiori e di colori diversi: dal verde sfumato del basilico e del rosmarino al cangiante delle margherite e dei gerani, dalle begonie alla fucsia, alle rose...poi, al di sopra e al di là di tre giardini, si varca un cancelletto e si entra nel regno proibito dell'isola. L'antica grotta alla base (una delle numerose esistenti, ma forse la sola accessibile) si mostra con i suoi scarsi reperti ossei, con rari avanzi di suppellettili e con residui bellici di nessuna importanza...poi si torna alla luce e s'inizia, lentamente, a seguire la viuzza tortuosa che conduce alla vetta.
Si sale, seguendo la strada in una costante attrazione visiva ed auditiva; l'orrido del sottobosco incolto e abbandonato fa da supporto alle piante strette una accanto all'altra e fasciate dai rovi e dai cespugli; spesso al di sopra dell'angusto anello della strada compare una striscia d'azzurro o, di quando in quando, attraverso l'intrico dei rami, finissimo come un merletto dell'Ottocento o come l'intarsio d'un cristallo boemo o di Murano, riappare il gioco che il sole fa con la superficie del mare sempre più in basso. Spesso fra un tornante e l'altro s'aprono caratteristici e brevi tratti a scale di terra e pietre; dalla strada "maestra" divergono altri sentieri in terra battuta che conducono lungo i costoni del lato Nord, ove la vegetazione è più densa, il pendio è più accessibile ed il panorama stupendo.
Sul principio del secolo si contavano oltre duecento specie di erbe e piante: salendo si notano infatti il mandorlo, il fico ed il carrubo, l'ulivo, il pino e il leccio, il viburno, l'euforbia e la mimosa, il pesco ed il pero, una infinità di cespugli di ogni tipo, una gamma svariatissima di fiori spontanei, l'agave ed il fico d'India numerosissimo specie nello scosceso costone a Sud, dinanzi al mare aperto e persino un magnifico esemplare di eucalyptus.
E poi si giunge sulla vetta; là un muro perimetrale segna il limite; attraverso il cancello compare un giardino con terra coltivata e forse di riporto, con aiuole e fiori, con il palazzo d'abitazione. A pochi passi verso ponente la vetusta chiesetta s'apre a tutto mare come una vela nel vento; persino i vecchi marmi, i bassorilievi abbandonati, le colonnine cadenti e riarse sembrano segnare nella pietra il sole imprigionato nei secoli e il vento che ha ripulito tutti gli anfratti ed ha portato nelle vecchie crepe il seme e la terra per fecondarlo e farlo rinascere alla vita. Poco discosta è la parte posteriore della vecchia casa, così triste con tutte le ante chiuse e più lontano, dall'altra parte, s'erge tra gli scogli e le agavi la torre, la vecchia torre che domina il mare...
Circumnavigandola l'isola cambia volto: ora è un comune promontorio posato sull'acqua, ora è una piccola Trinacria, ora una incantevole prospettiva te la mostra come un'enorme tartaruga o come una lumaca in movimento verso il tramonto. Rivedi la grotta di San Martino, l'arco che la forza del mare ha naturalmente creato. L'altra punta a levante: il mare qui sfoga tutta la sua collera e s'infrange. E' la punta detta dello "Sciusciau", "colui che soffia", perchè è proprio il vento che, iracondo e bizzarro, ama mettere in contrasto quel lembo di terra e l'acqua salmastra, due elementi che, in sua assenza, vivono in un sereno e lungo colloquio e paiono essere stati creati per restare insieme abbracciati...

Die Kürbisse (Cucurbita) bilden eine Pflanzengattung aus der Familie der Kürbisgewächse (Cucurbitaceae).
Wie Gurke und Tomate zählt die Kürbisfrucht botanisch zu den Beeren.
In Mittel- und Südamerika gehören die Kürbisse zu den Grundnahrungsmitteln der Indianer. Im 16. Jahrhundert wurden die Speisekürbisse von den Portugiesen nach Europa und China gebracht. Hier galten Kürbisse lange Zeit als Arme-Leute-Essen oder wurden als Viehfutter verwendet, seit einigen Jahren hält der Kürbis vermehrt Einzug in die gehobene Küche. Grund ist sein feiner Geschmack - und vielleicht die Tatsache, dass Kürbisse reichlich Vitamine der Gruppen A, C, D und E enthalten. Darüber hinaus enthält das Fruchtfleisch der Kürbisse Kalium, Calcium und Zink. Kürbisse stärken das Immunsystem, fördern die Verdauung und hemmen Entzündungen im Körper. Sie sind für Diäten geeignet, da sie 95 % Wasser enthalten und nur circa 20 Kalorien pro 100 Gramm haben.
Bei den nordamerikanischen Indianern gehörten kleinere Kürbissorten, im nordamerikanischen Englisch squash genannt, zu den three sisters (dt.: „drei Schwestern“) genannten wichtigsten Nahrungspflanzen. Die Maisstängel dienten als Bohnenstangen für die Bohnenranken, und beide gaben dem squash Schatten vor den sengenden Sonnenstrahlen. Der squash wiederum hielt das Unkraut fern.
Zweckmäßig ist die Einteilung in Zier- und Speisekürbisse. Zu den Speisekürbissen zählen unter anderem die aus Japan stammenden Hokkaidokürbisse, Zucchini, Spaghettikürbisse, Butternutkürbisse, Muskatkürbisse, Moschuskürbisse, Türken-Turban, Bischofsmütze und Mini-Patisson. Weitere bekannte Sorten sind der Muscade de Provence und der Bleu de Hongrie. Insgesamt gibt es etwa 800 Sorten im Anbau.
Die Samen (Kerne) einiger Kürbissorten werden zur Herstellung von Pflanzenöl verwendet, bekannt ist das Kürbiskernöl aus der Steiermark (Österreich). Aus den gerösten Kernen einer der Sorten der Cucurbita pepo styriaca wird dort ein Kürbiskernöl gewonnen, das als echtes Kürbiskernöl in den Handel gelangt und außer in Österreich auch in Slowenien und Ungarn angebaut wird. Die Schachblume (Fritillaria meleagris), auch Schachbrettblume oder Kiebitzei genannt, ist eine Pflanzenart aus der Familie der Liliengewächse (Liliaceae).
Die Blütezeit reicht von April bis Mai. Die meist einzelnen, selten zu zweit stehenden Blüten sind nickend[3] bis nach unten hängend. Die zwittrigen, dreizähligen Blüten sind fast geruchlos und breit glockenförmig. Die sechs gleichgestaltigen, etwa 4 Zentimeter langen Perigonblätter, deren stumpfe Spitze meist etwas umgebogen ist, sind schachbrettartig purpurrot-weiß oder grünlich-weiß gefleckt. Selbst bei der völlig weißen Form Fritillaria meleagris f. alba ist die namensgebende Musterung noch schwach zu erkennen.
Fritillaria meleagris is a Eurasian species of flowering plant in the lily family.[2][3][4] Its common names include snake's head fritillary, snake's head (the original English name), chess flower, frog-cup, guinea-hen flower, guinea flower, leper lily.
The flowering period runs from April to May. The mostly single, rarely in pairs standing flowers are nodding [3] to hanging down. Summer 2019 I did a solo cycling tour across Europe through 12 countries over the course of 3 months. I began my adventure in Edinburgh, Scotland and finished in Florence, Italy cycling 8,816 km. During my trip I took 47,000 photos.

Die Schachblume (Fritillaria meleagris), auch Schachbrettblume oder Kiebitzei genannt, ist eine Pflanzenart aus der Familie der Liliengewächse (Liliaceae).
Die Blütezeit reicht von April bis Mai. Die meist einzelnen, selten zu zweit stehenden Blüten sind nickend[3] bis nach unten hängend. Die zwittrigen, dreizähligen Blüten sind fast geruchlos und breit glockenförmig. Die sechs gleichgestaltigen, etwa 4 Zentimeter langen Perigonblätter, deren stumpfe Spitze meist etwas umgebogen ist, sind schachbrettartig purpurrot-weiß oder grünlich-weiß gefleckt. Selbst bei der völlig weißen Form Fritillaria meleagris f. alba ist die namensgebende Musterung noch schwach zu erkennen.
Fritillaria meleagris is a Eurasian species of flowering plant in the lily family.[2][3][4] Its common names include snake's head fritillary, snake's head (the original English name), chess flower, frog-cup, guinea-hen flower, guinea flower, leper lily.
The flowering period runs from April to May. The mostly single, rarely in pairs standing flowers are nodding [3] to hanging down. The hermaphrodite, threefold flowers are almost odorless and wide bell-shaped. The six equal multiform, about 4 centimeters long tepals whose blunt tip is usually somewhat bent, are checkerboard mottled purple-white or greenish-white. Even with the completely white form Fritillaria meleagris f. Alba the eponymous patterning is barely recognizable.

Nuestro artista se ha hallado en conflicto con el mundo multiforme y, supongamos, casi se ha reconocido en él. Sin el menor ruido. Ya lo tenemos suficientemente bien orientado y hasta en condiciones de ordenar el flujo de las apariencias y experiencias. Yo desearía comparar esta orientación en las cosas de la naturaleza y de la vida, este orden y sus ramales y ramificaciones, con las raíces del árbol.
De esa región fluye hacia el artista la savia que lo inunda y que se le entra por los ojos. El artista se encuentra, pues, en la situación de tronco.

Dio, di buon grado, si mette a tracciare complicatissime forumle matematiche su una lavagna.
Einstein lo osserva e, ad un certo punto, si fa coraggio e gli fa notare che forse c'è un errore, una piccola incongruenza, che si ripete.

"Southwell Minster (/ˈsʌðəl, ˈsaʊθwɛl/) is a minster and cathedral, in Southwell, Nottinghamshire, England. It is situated six miles from Newark-on-Trent and thirteen miles from Mansfield. It is the seat of the Bishop of Southwell and Nottingham and the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham.
In 1884 Southwell Minster became a cathedral proper for Nottinghamshire and a part of Derbyshire including the city of Derby:126–127. The diocese was divided in 1927 and the Diocese of Derby was formed. The diocese's centenary was commemorated by a royal visit to distribute Maundy money. George Ridding, the first Bishop of Southwell, designed and paid for the grant of Arms now used as the diocesan coat of arms.
The nave, transepts, central tower and two western towers of the Norman church which replaced the Saxon minster remain as an outstanding achievement of severe Romanesque design. With the exception of fragments mentioned above, they are the oldest part of the existing church.
The Nave is of seven bays, plus a separated western bay. The columns of the arcade are short and circular, with small scalloped capitals. The triforium has a single large arch in each bay. The clerestory has small round-headed windows. The external window openings are circular. There is a tunnel-vaulted passage between the inside and outside window openings of the clerestory. The nave aisles are vaulted, the main roof of the nave is a trussed rafter roof, with tie-beams between each bay – a late C19 replacement.
By contrast with the nave arcade, the arches of the crossing are tall, rising to nearly the full height of the nave walls. The capitals of the east crossing piers depict scenes from the life of Jesus. Two stages of the inside of the central tower can be seen at the crossing, with cable and wave decoration on the lower order and zigzag on the upper. The transepts have three stories with semi-circular arches, like the nave, but without aisles.
The western facade has pyramidal spires on its towers – a unique feature today, though common in the C12. The existing spires date only from 1880, but they replace those destroyed by fire in 1711, which are documented in old illustrations. The large west window dates from the C15. The central tower's two ornamental stages place it high among England's surviving Norman towers. The lower order has intersecting arches, the upper order plain arches. The north porch has a tunnel vault, and is decorated with intersecting arches.
The choir is Early English in style, and was completed in 1241. It has transepts, thus separating the choir into a western and eastern arm. The choir is of two stories, with no gallery or triforium. The lower storey has clustered columns with multiform pointed arches, the upper storey has twin lancet arches in each bay. The rib vault of the choir springs from clustered shafts which rest on corbels. The vault has ridge ribs. The square east end of the choir has two stories each of four lancet windows.
Southwell (/ˈsaʊθwɛl, ˈsʌðəl/) is a town in Nottinghamshire, England, the site of Southwell Minster, the cathedral of the Anglican Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham. A population of under 7,000 rose to 7,297 at the 2011 Census. The origin of the name is unclear. It lies on the River Greet, about 14 miles (22 km) north-east of Nottingham. Other historic buildings include prebendal houses in Church Street and Westgate and the Methodist church, which has a right of way beneath it, so that the upper floor seats more than the lower. The workhouse (1824) was a prototype for many others. Owned by the National Trust, it shows its appearance in the 19th century. Behind the Minster is a partly ruined palace, once a residence of the Archbishop of York.
