A few friends and I attended an American Le Mans Series race held at Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, Connecticut. It was really hot that day, but we managed to find some shady seating area to beat the heat. In addition to the race, businesses and vendors had plenty of booths setup, selling everything from toys to racing school lessons. It was an exciting day, where we got to see the race cars and a lot of really nice visitor cars, as well.

In the 12th week of my exploration I used 1600 speed film and a wide open aperture to study the interactions of various objects.
While touch sensing is commonplace for single points of contact, multi-touch systems enables a user to interact with a system with more than one finger at a time, allowing for the use of both hands along with chording gestures. These kinds of interactions hold tremendous potential for advances in efficiency, usability, and intuitiveness. Multi-touch systems are inherently also able to accommodate multiple users simultaneously, which is especially useful for collaborative scenarios such as interactive walls and tabletops.
