The Century Building is being torn down so they can build a parking garage. Parking is not in short supply in downtown St. Louis, at all -- possibly because there's little to do there because so many of the buildings have been torn down to build parking garages.
Sandia is restarting the Molten Salt Test Loop after damage from a major storm shut it down in 2017. The MSTL will provide a safe and reliable environment for industries to test components in flowing, molten nitrate salts at temperatures up to 600 degrees Celsius.
