Master Sgt. Brent D. Wipperman was promoted to his current rank during a promotion ceremony held at 401st AFSB headquarters Apr. 1. Wipperman is the officer-in-charge of the Bagram RPAT QA team. He is part of a group of Soldiers with the 227th Quartermaster Company assigned to the 402nd AFSB who volunteered to deploy to the 401st for a short term assignment to assist with equipment fielding and retrograde. Congratulations on your promotion and thank you for your hard work and dedicated service!

About the 401st:

The 401st Army field Support Brigade provides Soldiers, Sailors, Airman, and Marines, the tools and resources necessary to complete the mission. If they shoot, drive it, fly it, wear it, eat it or communicate with it, the 401st helps provide it. The brigade assists coalition partners with many of their logistical and sustainment needs. The brigade also handles the responsible disposition of equipment in Afghanistan to support evolving missions. We are the single link between Warfighters in the field, and working through Army Sustainment Command, we leverage Army Materiel Command’s worldwide Materiel Enterprise to develop, deliver, and sustain materiel to ensure a dominant joint force for the U.S. and our Allies.

So, this should be the last iPhone pic for a while. Thankfully, I got a call from Apple and not only was my MBP ready to go, but they had spared my data and I’m right back to where I was, throwing caution to the wind with no back up plan. =P Maybe in the not so distant future I’ll get myself an external drive. In the meantime, I’m going to keep using the 2 free gigs of dropbox storage and only back up the essentials.

As far as the above image, WOW. What a great show. Not only did I finally get to see The Strokes, who btw, put on an AMAZING show, they also treated the very under appreciating younger fans to a surprise April Fool showing of Elvis Costello. He just came out, yelled “Happy April Fool”, sang Pump It Up and Peace Love and Understanding, thanked the crowd and ran off stage. It was amazing. He also showed up later in the show to help the Strokes with one of the songs off the new album and it was great. What a show. If these guys ever come back to NYC and play a small venue, I’m there.

Visited the open day of MSG Venlo on the 9th of June. Took just a few photos that day. It was simply too warm to hang arround long in Blerick.
