Last night, we attended our church's Mission Banquet. We had our tickets ready and we were excited to celebrate the way God has worked in Missions this past year and learned about Compassion International for this year with our church family.
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations. - Matthew 28:19

I didn't expect such a surprising photo-op as this on today's Hesketh Park walkabout.
Thanks a lot, you two. All best wishes and I hope you like it when/if you see it.

Married at last, Sarah and Matt (with little Ethan)! They had an autumn theme for their wedding, with lots of orange and green touches.
While walking in Hesketh Park, I stumbled upon them with their professional wedding photographer.
They saw me stop to watch from a distance (with a 300mm lens), so I beamed my broadest smile, raised my camera, pointed to it and then to them.
This was their response.
(Btw, if the happy couple happen to see this shot -- I hope you like it.)
I had a client contact me about doing tiny pillows for Adirondack chairs that would be on top of a wedding cake. She wanted them monogrammed with the "Mr." and "Mrs." and one inch square. I told her I'd try it, haha! As it turned out, she said they were perfect! I love it when a custom order turns out this well. :)

This is from a wedding I was at a month or so ago, the book's all done and they're happy with it so I can use a few of the shots now, particularly pleased with this one...
Sheep seen on my walk along Under Billinge Lane, Blackburn near Billinge Wood and the Yellow Hills. I have never seen this breed before and I think they are Beulah Speckled Face sheep. They are totally delightful and pretty sheep.
I photograph my first wedding this week-end. It was fun and a challenge. I won't be quitting my day job anytime soon. LOL.

A total fave photo from this past weekend's wedding photo shoot with Jarrett and Jocelyn Lane. Two very good friends of my mine, and who I felt privileged to photograph on their special day. May they have a lifetime of love and success...
