This pair of Goldeneye were stretching their necks out in front of themselves in some sort of breeding display . A very rare breeding duck here ( only about 200 in Scotland ) but a large number do overwinter in the UK . This image taken at Dungeness RSPB on Burrows ravel pit .

Male and female Hazel catkins! Hazel shrubs are monoecious, with male and female flowers on the same plant, but they can’t self-fertilise. The male flowers are the Lamb's Tails! The female flowers are the small vase-shaped bud with red filaments. If pollinated by pollen from other hazel trees these buds become the hazel nuts in autumn.
Taken under an Oak tree that is casting the shadows it took an age for them to both be standing in the light side by side so I had some chance of them both to be in focus. They kept me amused with their running about fussing and clucking while I waited

This part of the pond was by no means the prettier side.....but there were a lot of ducks and geese here.
I'm presuming this area of the Pond is an ideal place for them to nest.....lots of fallen trees and branches etc. It was difficult to get close to get some good photos.

We have been wanting to buy some of these darling classic Mickey Ears and have them embroidered with our Mr + Mrs name.....and that's just what we did on our recent visit to Walt Disney World! We found this area at Disney Springs to be the practically perfect place to photograph the ears.

It's over 40 years since I did any Wedding Photography and then it was as an unpaid amateur, but last year a dear friend asked me to help him out, I did explain that my style is how I see it and did not include formal group pictures.
This is one of a set which I think catches the moment on leaving the Registry Office as Mr and Mrs
I had a client contact me about doing tiny pillows for Adirondack chairs that would be on top of a wedding cake. She wanted them monogrammed with the "Mr." and "Mrs." and one inch square. I told her I'd try it, haha! As it turned out, she said they were perfect! I love it when a custom order turns out this well. :)

I believe this is the same pair I had visiting me last year. Most mornings they are on the pond and then leave by about 8 AM. I love to have them visit, but I would not be encouraging them to stay!! :)
