Sabine Breithor kam autodidaktisch zu Keramik und Plastik und lebt und arbeitet seit 2000 mit eigener Werkstattgalerie in Langerwisch bei Potsdam.

As a reminder, my work makes people aware that, on a small and large scale, every community can only solve its upcoming tasks together and that every individual, as part of the human family, is called upon to take responsibility for the common good when dealing with global challenges. This is the only way for the boat we are all in to reach its destination safely, otherwise it is in danger of sinking."
Sabine Breithor came to ceramics and plastics as an autodidact and has been living and working with her own workshop gallery in Langerwisch near Potsdam since 2000.

Moving - In Bewegung
Nicht nur die Lichter der Stadt faszinieren Menschen auch die Bewegung. Direkt an der Einfahrt zum Hauptbahnhof in Frankfurt am Main ist Tag und Nacht Bewegung. Die Menschen kommen an und fahren wieder weg - bleiben ständig im Bewegung. Eins der größten Kopfbahnhöfe Europas ist immer sehr schön zu beobachten.
Not only the lights of the city fascinate people, but also the movement. Right at the entrance to the main train station in Frankfurt am Main there is movement day and night. People come and go - they're always on the move. One of the largest terminal stations in Europe is always very nice to watch.

This was a grain storage facility for Budweiser back in the day. I caught it just as a storm was moving in, and loved the silhouette. I also really liked the reflection of sunlight in the windows.

Hi There!
Many of you have asked how I'm doing since my foot surgery. I saw the surgeon yesterday, so now have a little news. First, I want to thank my Flickr friends for your support! Your kind comments, notes and prayers have helped enormously! I am still housebound, but have been given permission to try and start bending my forefoot and toes (now impossible) and when the swelling goes down enough, to start to wear my own shoes and boots again! That'll be a nice change from the brace I currently wear. I can walk carefully around my home, but it will be some time before I am out and about as usual. Most importantly, I am moving forward!

A wonderful clarity and a thin line of clouds made for a great few minutes on the beach. I love the fact the clouds change shape every few minutes as the tide drops, opening up so many different shapes and textures. that's probably why I never tire of beach shots. Moving on is by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis, and I have to be moving on as I'm off volunteering this morning.

It was a cloudy and windy day.. killer combination for long exposure photography. I waited until a little before sunset. Then I grabbed my camera, my ND filter and my tripod and went to the riverside walk. The scene was really spectacular. A river flowing under the bridge and the fast moving clouds above it. There was not much to think when you have something like this in front of you. All you have to do is set the tripod, frame the scene and shoot!
