Schiefersee (2.495m)

The Schiefersee belongs to the upper Spronser lakes. So it is to be feared that I'll torture you some more with pictures from this tour 😉 Enjoy a hopefully relaxed and sunny weekend ☀️

Sorry, had to correct the name of the lake 😉 this is not the Milk Lake 😄

The Spronser Lakes (German: Spronser Seenplatte; Italian: Laghi di Sopranes) is the largest group of high elevation lakes in the Alps, located in South Tyrol, Italy. Here you can find some information:

It ist he highest hill in the north of germany. In winter it is a great place with a lot of snow. Often it's windy and foggy. A lot of peare have been often here but never without fog.

But when it's clear and the sun is shining you have an fantastic view.

I know it's not the most attractive picture, but it's necessary to complete my series about Harz until end of Februay.

A view of the valley as seen from the road leading to the cell towers on Steens Mountain in Oregon. Although there are still large pockets of snow in the mountains, the large patch in the distance is actually a dried-up lake bed.
