Long ago, the Land had it all.
She had four seasons, lovers,
and waves of emotion.
Now, she is pale and lacerated.
Crumpled by the hoof of time,
and tears of erosion.
Her core is charred in beige flesh.
Lost lust and love flutter in
alchemic commotion.
The land now idly breathes.
Hush… hear! She still is
stillness in motion!

I took my dad mackrel fishing as a birthday treat last weekend, it was a great trip but we couldnt find the mackrel shoals! Luckily for me i remembered to take my camera
Clifton Beach is the start of an eight kilometer walk out to Cape Kidnappers headland. Not much surf along this stretch.
As we travelled west across the north coast we called very briefly at Sango Bay to snap some shots of this often photograhed rock formation surounded by a lively sea.
I got a chance to visit the “ground level” of the Reflecting Motion exhibit at Union Station recently. Here is one of my favorites from this set. Give it a click to see in larger view.

Crazy Tuesday - Liquid in Motion
A single drop of blue food colouring dripped from an ear dropper from a height of about 50cm into the centre of a little clear plastic cup filled to the brim with clear water. Then it is just a matter of timing……..
Today's Daily Shoot was: Visit a park today--national, amusement, playground--and make a photo of something that catches your eye
This happens to be the Deja Vu roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, CA.
I am not happy about the "high key" in the clouds, but I like the motion blur and the blue sky.
