While in New York passed by Moscot's on Orchard Street.. Purveyors of distinctive, iconic eyewear. Shop windows had mannequin heads with unique designs with a vintage look - VERY artistic. So here is my version. Next stop Cape Town, South Africa.
Celebrando los 112 años de Soberanía, Un grupo de amigos salimos a tomar fotografías en el desfile de 3 de noviembre día en que se celebra la separación de Panamá de la Gran Colombia el 3 de noviembre de 1903.
La idea era captar y representar el espíritu patrio- muchos panameños y extranjeros pudieron disfrutar del desfile que se realizo en la cinta costera allí es donde puede captar estas imágenes y una otra parte en el Casco Antiguo de la ciudad de Panamá, ya que el recorrido del Desfile comenzaba desde allá.
Entre algunas de las bandas que pude captar las delegaciones oficiales como la de la Policía Nacional y de escuelas como el José Dolores Moscote, El IPA, La Salle, Las Esclavas, El Episcopal, Colegio la Santa Familia, entre otras.

Recorded heading along the dedicated central tram lane of Milan's Via Giovanni Pascoli in March 2025, MOSCOT branded Peter Witt unit 1530 was working an ATM Line 33 service to Viale Rimembranze di Lambrate.

On the corner of Delancey and Orchard Street, the story goes that it is a graffiti goodbye before the demolition to make way for a 120 feet tall high rise.
I love where someone wrote "Rest In Paint."
This was once Moscot, one of the oldest businesses in New York City and claimed by some to be F. Scott Fitzgerald’s inspiration for the Doctor T. J. Eckleburg billboard in The Great Gatsby. They didn't go out of business, across the street with several other locations and they are also a global lifestyle brand. Theirs is one of the more interesting New York stories.
“Vanished Spirits” is freedom. It’s wandering around an empty art gallery. It’s a space designed for light and splashed with color. It’s embracing a fraction of time for what it is, what it once was, and what it could be. And then it vanishes.
