Inspired by Jean Antoine Houdon's sculpture: Morphée, 1777.

[...] Morpheus: This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill - the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill - you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes [...]

He came out of the rain. With damp hair and wet clothing he sat on the edge of the bed. His eyes were closed before his head hit the pillow...

Sculpture By The Sea | Tamarama Beach | Sydney

The yellow part of the sculpture was in constant motion as the wind was strong on Sunday. So it was pretty hard to frame a shot. It was mesmerising. This was my favourite sculpture.

Here are more shots of Morpheus.

MacroMondays theme: Personal Dreams

I awoke early in the morning, this happened several years ago, with vivid impressions of a dream at the fore of my mind. My body felt elated and full of energy, and my mood one of enthusiasm.

In my dream I could effortlessly hop and jump hundreds of feet above the ground. I travelled great distances and met interesting people. At one point I touched down on a farm with huge fields of golden grass. The farmer came out to greet me, but neither of us said a word. I knew who he was and he knew me. We smoked a pipe together and I hopped back into the sky.

That is the only detail I remember, but I do believe there was much more that I cannot recall. This is one of three dreams that are burned into my memory, those I will never forget. But this is the only one where I can recall the feeling of elation and contentment. It's easily comes to my mind when I am in a similar mood now, even years later.

I absolutely adore everything about this look. It is the lovechild epitome of all the awesome pop culture has to offer.

(Looks so much better larger.)

Jugando con las luces y sombras - Playing with lights and shadows

Morpheus is the greek god of dreams..the dream maker.. the one who comes in the night and whispers your dreams in your ear... i just fell in love with this painting and wanted to put myself in it..will post the original in comments. sorry the quality is poor because i didn't have a large image of the painting to begin with.

PS.. this is THE dress i decided on for the wedding.. and what made me think of greek gods because it's so "greek goddess"

still need the shoes though

:)

If you gonna keep asking me how old I am, expect this response.

It looks a little like a Revell model.
