A busy morning in Didcot shed, gone 7 am and 6023 needs to be cleaned and ready for her day's duties
I love the aroma of dark coffee in the morning. That's why I like Starbucks type of coffee. McDonalds coffee taste like water to me.
Oh, I only put milk in my coffee and I still refuse to take photos of Starbucks coffee cups!! lol !
okay, time for a second cup... hehe :-)
[ Note, it's hard to see but the cup has the Space Needle picture on it. I went up there 2 yrs ago when I was at Seattle WA. I bought this cup there at the gift shop ]
There is never a night so dark that morning light cannot overcome. Blessings!

we started taking pictures in blue sky conditions - then suddenly the weather turned. I was no longer sad that we could not get a second night at the campsite.
Hoan Kiem Lake lies at the very heart of Hanoi in Vietnam, within the city's storied Old Quarter. So much of Hanoi's past and present is tied up in this scenic body of water. In the morning, people come out by the 100's to workout and dance by the lake. Here are a few of the quieter moments I found by the lake. (4 of 5)

A peacefully quiet, cool and damp morning along the creek. I had already been up for a few hours. Earlier I hiked downstream from camp and made a few photographs in the early morning light. After that, I returned to camp and sat in my camp chair drinking steamy hot black coffee while adding a few new entries into my journal. Now, camp is still void of all man made sounds. It's just me and a gray squirrel that are up and enjoying the beginning of this day (I like it that way sometimes - peaceful solitude with no unnatural sounds - relaxing.)
I made this photograph less than 15 feet from the door of my tent. If you were to sit up on my cot and look out the door of my tent this would pretty much be your view.
I love this time of day in the forest when the first few splashes of morning light kiss the forest floor good morning and randomly illuminate other precious details. This is my version of opening a jewelry box just as the first few rays of sunlight pass through delicate lace curtains and shine upon the jewels. Privileged and appreciated!
Watching the scene evolve I felt a sense of peacefulness and romance. So that is what I tried to convey in this photograph - (Peacefulness and Romance.) On this morning I was blessed with calm conditions which allowed me to use a longer exposure to soften the water while keeping the grasses and flowers still and un-blurred from motion.
