Thought it would be fun to pair up my favorite bracelet with a bright backdrop. Love how the beads capture colors in a sort of cloudy, reflective way.
There are lots of colorful stones and rocks that can be collected along this section of beach. Fog was rolling in and soon visibility was almost gone.
My kind of dreamcatcher....sunset over an ancient stone circle, taken by drone.......then ritually sacrificed in Snapseed on iPad Pro. Have it!!!! 💪 🌕 👊
Swinside Stone Circle (also known as Sunkenkirk and Swineshead), Cumberland, UK. (Southwest corner of the Lake District). Described by Aubrey Burl as "one of the finest stone circles in Western Europe" A very special place indeed.....battered or not!!
Note...If you look closely you can see the that the shadows situated at the middle top of the image are of a gate....and either side are the deep shadows of a wall.

Nice sunset tonight, viewed from the high viewpoint at the parking lot off CA-1, at the N end of Moonstone Drive. The long contrail adds visual interest. Tide was at about minus 1.3 ft.

Mount St. Louis Moonstone, is a family owned ski resort in Ontario. Offers skiing and snowboarding with 36 slopes, 9 chairlifts and 3 carpets.
I had a good look through the vendor's stall holding each stone up to the light. I loved this one and although very small it showed potential. It was then a challenge to bring out the colours using my ring light and mobile phone torch. I added "stars" to enhance the appearance of outer space.
Moonstone is one of my Roses and the rest you know, the twirl and making the kaleidoscope.. Happy Sliders Sunday,

"Water Play"
Moonstone Beach, Cambria is a great place for shopping, gallery visits, exploration, walking, and for that matter any photography. Wide expanses of sandy beaches and rock outcroppings as well as many species of wildlife. Of course, never forget the restaurants. This day I had just finished a day sitting the Gallery at Marina Square. There was still a bit of light left, so I headed north where I could get some practice with ND Filters. I used several different 3,6 and 10 stop ND Filters experimenting for different effects. I hope you enjoy. Thank you for looking.
Rock is about a foot/30 cm long. Outcrop of Cambria Slab greywacke sandstone. On Moonstone Beach, Cambria.
Take a look at max size: everything is washed clean by about an inch of rain last night. Jewel-like pebbles!
I decided to play with hyperfocal point focusing. I set the camera on the hyperfocal distance for f16 and just took the picture.
There was a ten stop ND filter on the camera for this image.
Moonstone is a 7,529 foot (2,295 m) peak in the Granite Mountains of Wyoming. The peak is found in the Sweewater Rocks near Jeffery City, Wyoming. Geologically, this granite knob is located in the Archean-age Sweetwater subprovince of the Wyoming Craton. These rocks represent a time when Wyoming was a separate microcontinent called the Wyoming Craton which existed 500 million years before the North American Continent formed. The Sweetwater subprovince has an east-west tectonic grain which is caused by a shear zone between the Sweetwater and Southern Accredited Terrane subprovinces along the southern edge of the Wyoming microcontinent.
