Monty Python and the History of The World day-at-a-time calendar. One of my New York City gifts for myself. Now proudly over my office desk near to the monitor so that everybody can see it.
"Immerse yourselft in the world of bizarre and beloved british humor with this daily dose of MP. Significant events, classic bits and totally useless trivia..."

I meet my comedic idol. Believe me, this moment was not as awkward as the kind woman at B&N photographed it to be.
April Scavenger Hunt - film titles
Helmet from a shop window in France, rabbit from my sons collection of killer rabbits, blood courtesy of Photoshop - gave up when it came to the cave and bones (although do have pictures for both!) so just put in a sandy coloured background.
Julie hope this is ok for you!!
Sometimes, I believe that there is a Monty Python rerun playing constantly in my head. So many catchphrases, so many one liners, so many absurd songs and concepts. And one finds it nigh on impossible to escape the grasp of,..."The Python". lol (Insert silly walk, here) So, when I asked my daughter what these beautiful plants were, that were growing along the Bay of Fundy, and she told me they were lupines-well-of course, that famous rip-off song from the Dennis Moore Saga has been going through my head ever since. I can never view another lupine from the neutral ground of apathy. lol So, for those of you who would like to refresh your memories, or, want to experience Monty Python for the first time, it is available on You Tube. www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRBtgrNo-58 www.youtube.com/watch?v=qLkhx0eqK5w
One phone/365 days. Day 230 2/5/08
I'm a lumberjack and I'm OK
I sleep all night and I work all day.
Chorus:
He's a lumberjack and he's OK
He sleeps all night and he works all day.
I cut down trees, I eat my lunch
I go to the lavatory.
On Wednesdays I go shopping and have buttered scones for tea
Mounties:
He cuts down trees, he eats his lunch
He goes to the lavatory.
On Wednesdays he goes shopping and has buttered scones for tea.
Chorus:
He's a lumberjack and he's OK
He sleeps all night and he works all day.
I cut down trees, I skip and jump
I like to press wild flowers.
I put on women's clothing and hang around in bars.
Mounties:
He cuts down trees, he skips and jumps
He likes to press wild flowers.
He puts on women's clothing and hangs around in bars?!
Chorus:
He's a lumberjack and he's OK
He sleeps all night and he works all day.
I cut down trees, I wear high heels
Suspenders and a bra.
I wish I'd been a girlie, just like my dear Papa!!
Mounties:
I cut down trees, I wear high heels?!
Suspenders...and a bra?!...
Just the Lumberjack:
I wish I'd been a girlie, just like my dear Papa!!

The only item in python.org's /misc/ directory is a .au of John Philip Sousa's music. Natch, when you download it, it's the Sousa intro to Monty Python's Flying Circus.
What a wonderful start to a Monday.
