Fact; my Nikkor macro lens is the sharpest thing I've ever seen. It's hardly come off my camera since I picked it up last week. It makes shooting ordinary crap even more fun!
The cheery Arizona poppies (Arizona caltrop, orange caltrop, summer poppy) are blooming, thanks to the summer rainy season. This shot was taken in Catalina State Park on August 20, 2011. The blooms are photogenic from every angle and are a delight to behold.

This morning I was driving to work and saw how green the recent monsoon rains made everything... just had to stop.
I wish I could have gotten closer to the lake — it looked like glass — but unfortunately I had to get to work :(
So, does anybody else think Ireland has a bloody monsoon season these days?
