This is one of our favourite spots near Pune during the Monsoons.This is the Panshet dam reservoir and at the moment it is full.

The Sonoran desert, covering a large part of the southwestern US and Northern Mexico, basically divides its summer into two parts. “Fore-summer”, occurring in May and June, is very hot and very dry. “Summer monsoon season” follows it from July to mid-September and brings the region soaking rains. ....Sometimes.
The Quinlan Mountains and the Coyote Mountain Wilderness. Southwest Arizona, USA. No crop. No post processing.
I'm staring at a broken door
There's nothing left here anymore
My room is cold
It's making me insane
I've been waiting here so long

I see the dark clouds coming up again.
Running through the monsoon
Beyond the world,
To the end of time,
Where the rain won't hurt
Fighting the storm,
Into the blue,
And when I lose myself I think of you,
Together we'll be running somewhere new
Through the monsoon.

May is supposed to be a monsoon season in the Maldives, but during our one week stay there, I was lucky to witness only one rain cloud coming towards our island. Somehow even this cloud managed to avoid us and instead rained in the ocean.
Hello all friends !! Our country is in the monsoon session from July to September !! Yesterday's Sunset was like monsoon clouds are saying goodbye !! Really It was very Wonderful Moment .

Black and white re-edit of a shot from November 2015. I loved the juxtaposition in this despite the imperfect focus. It was early in my attempts to capture shots one-handed underneath an umbrella. Needless to say that with practice it got much easier! Enjoy.

The monsoon clouds have dropped enough rain for the New Mexico landscape to go green. What a welcome change of scenery. After almost a year of parched earth, the land is breathing again.
However, the clouds stick around until 2-3am and sometimes all night, putting a severe crimp in my ambition to photograph the night sky. Oh well, ya can't have everything.
