I drove 66 miles towards this (west of Phoenix) I watched as lightning sparked ...looked great! Then I pull up and set up...NADA Lightning stopped. Joys of storm chasing :(

Monsoon season can be a real pain but it is also beautiful and exciting, if you are caught out in it, downright scary.

Crazy colors and storm cloud. But didn't deliver any rain.

I am loving my converted camera, definitely a learning experience. the sky was incredible, dark blue with big clouds, some dark others white and puffy. didn't want to get stuck off road in a storm but hated to leave once I found back roads with no houses or distractions. cannot wait to use this camera in upper michigan. have a great week Flickr friends..

Monsoon

I'm staring at a broken door
