The first European MPV. Body made of glassfibre, on a galvanized chassis. After a difficult commercial start, it became a source of inspiration for most car manufacturers. Today in its 5th generation.

The “Bulli Concept” gives a nostalgic wink to the classic Volkswagen microbus, 60 years after its original debut. At the same time, It’s an unmistakable example of Volkswagen’s commitment to innovation. The Bulli is designed with an electric powertrain and completely interactive driver interface, integrating an iPad touch screen. It also has a more compact footprint than any of its predecessors, while still offering comparable interior space. The “Bulli Concept” has been designed thoughtfully and thoroughly. It may have been inspired by the past, but it’s fully loaded for the future.

This might be the my favorite "discovered" ad ever.
From a design standpoint, this is totally out of character with other advertisements of the time. It's hand lettered like many others, but in an unconventional, un-unified way. It is full color, not spot color. It uses a monospaced typewriter face instead of the typical sans. Copy is on an angle(!).
It's great.

To promote the new Peugeot 806 people carrier, Peugeot Talbot Belgium entered this Kronos prepared 806 racecar in the 24 Hours of Spa in 1995. It was the idea of Pascal Witmeur, the promoter of the very popular Belgian Procar race series. The car was driven by Eric Bachelart, Philippe Verellen and Pascal Witmeur. The 806 was prepared as a proper care car using the mechanicals of the Peugeot 306 GTI N 2000. Its engine produced about 300 hp. The car was no competition against the the BMW 318i, Opel Vectra, Nissan Primera a.o.. The car failed to finish but scored a maximum win as a publicity stunt.

As readily recognisable as the immortal 'Beetle' itself and a 'cult' vehicle in its own right, the Volkswagen Type 2 and its derivatives enjoyed an even longer period in production than their saloon progenitor. The original was conceived in the late 1940s by a Dutch Volkswagen agent, Ben Pon, who drew up plans for a van based on the Beetle floor pan and running gear. Known as the Volkswagen Type 2 (the Beetle saloon being Type 1) the result of Pon's efforts arrived in 1950 and almost immediately proliferated into a bewildering variety of models catering for an enormous range of commercial and domestic activities. The original retained the Beetle's rear-mounted 1.200 cc air-cooled engine and four-speed gearbox, the latter suitably re-ratioed to cope with the van's greater weight. Engines grew in size and power while both handling and comfort improved as development progressed.
This beautiful VW 21-window Microbus was completely restored to original specification in 2018 using the M-Code and VIN plate for guidance. The vehicle is finished in Titian Red with beige-grey upholstery, and retains Deluxe features such as the original Sapphire V radio, dashboard clock, and correct 'Wolfsburg' crest on the steering wheel. Displacing 2.110 cc, the engine breathes via twin Dell'Orto carburettors, providing a level of performance far in excess of the original's. Offered with Greek 'historic' registration papers.

2001 Honda STEPWGN second generation - imported in August 2011
The second generation Honda Stepwgn debuted in April 2001, largely based off the first generation's design.
The second generation Stepwgn used a design that was geared towards families with children. The Stepwgn retained its sliding doors located on one side of the vehicle. The vehicle's seating allows 4 different seating arrangements: "play mode" (sitting opposite each other), "food mode", "sleep mode" and "cargo mode" (the second row of seats is folded flat). A 2.0L Honda K engine DOHC i-VTEC engine powers the second generation Stepwgn, providing 160 PS (117.7 kW), improving both driving performance and fuel economy. Some parts were stiffened in order to further enhance driving performance.
The vehicle was unveiled in 35th Tokyo Motor Show.

"grosse Isetta"
E106
The BMW 600, popularly known as the 'Large Isetta' represents the link between the Isetta and the BMW 700. In order to have a product to sell against the flood of conventionally built small cars around the mid-1950s, BMW built this vehicle, with equal track at front and rear, a door at the front and a right-hand side door. Despite a high level of quality, very good handling and a spacious interior, such an unusual vehicle was judged a misfit by motorists looking for a car of more conventional appearance.

Another car seen in the movie: the 807 minivan! This car is today in a quite exceptional condition, with less than 300 km on the odometer. From a cosmetic point of view, the car looks good, is still in like-new condition and proudly wears its Michel Vaillant livery. The interior is also in a good state of preservation and does not show any major defects; note however that the cables of the flashing lights are visible. From a mechanical point of view, the car has not been driven for a long time and a global revision will be necessary. The 158 hp 2.2L gasoline engine present in this car still starts.
