Many years ago a friend and I did a group show together. Every piece was a collaboration. This is the only part of that show that remains. I took it out of it's crate filled with foam peanuts so it could breath some new life after 22 years in storage. The piece is an homage to the late, great Robert Rauschenberg.

This cake was a referral from Fran. This couple was just gorgeous. Both of them just so very lovely. It was such a pleasure to deal with them. The cake was delivered to the venue (which is 5 minutes from Fran's house) this morning [Thursday 5/3/09].
Fran came around to help me set up, and take this gorgeous photo.
I just love how it turned out. It is a replica of this cake, which was the very first cupcake tower I ever made for another lovely girl, who is now expecting a bub :)
The topper is a dark choc mud cake filled with dark chocolate ganache. The cupcakes are half lemon scented white chocolate mud cake, and the other half, caramel mud cake. All topped with french butter cream. The hearts are fondant, piped in royal icing, and painted with gold.
I think this version is a lot neater than the original.
Night Strike is one of my favorite Monogram dolls. I think she's absolutely gorgeous! She's wearing a Dressmaker Details dress and Reckless Erin's fur jacket.

More GP Spam. Her hair isn’t “tight” enough to maintain the sleek 40’s curls and waves without some attention. I’m going to play and tamper with her, and make her a worse mess before I fix her back up.
