Takumar 58/2 (just did some bike maintenance)

Today I wanted to play with her, she was naked in her box and I looked for some clothes in the box of never used clothes, where there are above all those I don't like.

Finally after years I was able to use these white pants, they were from Hippie Dippy Poppy, I didn't like them on her, with the long legs of the Monogram instead I like them because they leave the ankles uncovered showing the shoes, and the green shirt was made up matching the color of the shoes

Disembarking in Amsterdam in 2011 I found that beautiful silk jaquard. It's scrolling texture simply drew me to it :-D

Many years ago a friend and I did a group show together. Every piece was a collaboration. This is the only part of that show that remains. I took it out of it's crate filled with foam peanuts so it could breath some new life after 22 years in storage. The piece is an homage to the late, great Robert Rauschenberg.

Plaster, wool, metal, rubber tire, acrylic, wood. 8x8x8 inches.

1988

Flowers were cut with Silhouette die cutter, colored with markers, then quilled into shape.

In case anyone was in limbo about Envied & Passionate Monogram; I took a quick snapshot of them with Discreet & Smoldering Monogram.

They look lovely together!

I washed and hot-watered Envied & Passionate's hair, so their hair would not be so stiff.

A couple of weeks ago I was looking for something in my stash and suddenly held a bag in my hands filled with my collection of vintage monograms from old linen towels. On the spur of the moment I decided to turn them into a quilt and just started cutting. I really love these tokens of olden days. Every block has a different monogram as centerpiece and I handstitched around each one to emphasize them.

I've finished that dress for quite some time now but never had a good opportunity to capture it.
