This small quilt was completed on New Years Day 2005. The design gets its name from the combination of sets of initials used in the design.

The initials are those of my husband and myself. The design is intended to symbolise our happy and longlasting relationship. We have recently celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary.

You might have a big slot car collection before you do something like this.....I also have a number of Chaparral slot cars, and have a great admiration for Jim Hall's work, so all but this one have been built reverently and correctly. I had this one in my spares box for a long time, having bought this second Monogram re-issued kit just for the decal set for another project. When I was improving my original Monogram inline sports car chassis recently, I thought of finally using this body, mounting it lower than the other original correct Monogram bodies that I have for it, and painting it like a kid might have back in the sixties. The correct white body sits on a modified 1967 K and B Kangaroo-type chassis, and uses vintage Cox wheels.
