The branch in the background is a little overexposed and the one monkeys face is in the shadows, but otherwise the photo shows nice detail of the fur. The green colors in the background give a natural setting.
I am glad I was able to capture the one monkeys eye. He seems so content while his buddy gives him a little clean. Its amazing to get the shot of the animals in their element. Unlike people they are completely not self-conscious.
Adult monkeys in McLeod are generally uninterested in people unless they are holding food.
This little guy kept poking out to watch me.
Just recently I have been thinking that perhaps I should look for monkeys rather than birds. They really are fascinating creatures.

eh, i had trouble dealing with this afternoon.
too many people, too small a space.
band that opened screamed in my ears at way to high a volume
we stayed for about 4 of 100 monkeys songs before calling it quits.
they were way better than the band that opened
still not really my thing though
at least not in this setting
