This has been an unusually cold spring. No Pied Flycatchers, no Willow warblers at this place. No leafs in trees as usual at this time. But no snow anymore and the Lake Kallavesi was free of ice. Wellcome summer!

Last summer was awesome in Finland 😍 Sunny and hot. I love hot weather. It was a piece of heaven. Hope next summer will be the same.

found in this English Country Garden.

Nestling, snugly, into this lush green,

wooded valley, in the Chiltern Hundreds,

Hambleden seems part of the landscape,

not bolted on.

With its red-clay tile-hung roofs,

and white, grey and black Flint walls,

this is one of the loveliest villages in England.

Iconic, beautiful and, seemingly, everlasting.
