Wie sein Vorgänger empfängt auch GPS05 permanent die Signale der Satelliten und aktualisiert die Position des Fahrzeugs 10 mal pro Sekunde, jedoch kann das neue System auch mit den Signalen von mehr als 10 Satelliten umgehen. Mit der Software RaceStudio 2 können die aus den GPS – Messwerten berechneten Parameter visualisiert und ausgewertet werden.
The motherboard (and all the modules) fitted and connected up. There are 3 connectors, the ribbon cable on the left that goes to the PSU board, a DIN connector to the heads and a 2 pin connector at the front to the power switch (ganged to the tone control). The last 2 are under the PCB and not visible here.
