Practicing for the Moon: The Apollo Lunar Module Trainer
Astronauts used this engineering mockup of the Apollo Lunar Module (LM) to train for Moon landings at NASA's Kennedy Space Center. This high-fidelity simulator provided thousands of hours of training for every person who ever walked on the Moon. Crews rehearsed each of the hundreds of individual steps necessary to land on the Moon.
The Lunar Module
The LM was a two-stage craft. The first stage was the descent stage, which contained the equipment needed to safely land on the Moon. The astronauts lived and worked in the second stage-the ascent stage. A liquid-propellant rocket engine returned the crew to lunar orbit in the ascent stage, leaving the base and legs of the LM on the Moon's surface.
Two engineering breakthroughs contributed to the mission's success:
1. The LM's engine, the first with a throttle, allowed a controlled descent
2. An onboard computer managed the entire descent
Synthwerks are about to ship some new modules. The first two are the SP-1P Slide Control and the FSR-2P Dual Passive FSR. Both are passive control modules meaning they don't require power. Following that will be the FSR-1T with Toggle Switch/Gate.

WASHINGTON, DC - JULY 9: Apollo Command Module . Taken July 9, 2011 in Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum, Washington, DC.
Combo module using a visaton speaker and a TDA2030 amplifier IC. This is the 1st one, i will build a 2nd one, both are for my 9U portable system.

Two enterprises in Nashik, auto parts suppliers to Mahindra and Mahindra, are implementing ILO's SCORE Workplace cooperation module. These enterprises are -- JP enterprise and Shree Shyam processors private limited. Post the implementation of the module, both enterprise report a rise in productivity, better management of workplace issues, and innovation.

Development Impact and the PhD Scholarship - Tool Kit training held at Cumberland Lodge, Windsor from 30 July - 1 August 2014

This one of twelve Lunar Modules (LEM) built for the Apollo missions. The displayed model was not flown. The module, which measures 6.4 m high and 4.3 m across, carried a crew of two in a 6.65 m3 space.
The Lunar Module has two principal parts: a descent (landing gear, landing radar antenna, descent rocket engine, fuel and cargo compartments) and an ascent Module (crew cabin, instrument panels, communications antennas, ascent rocket engine and fuel, battery power, and breathing oxygen, etc).
The first manned mission to land on the Moon was the Apollo 11 in July of 1969. The Eagle, the Lunar Module of Apollo 11 landed on the Moon after some unexpected technical dificulties on July 20.

The Apollo Command Module (11 feet x 13 feet; 6 tons) is the only component of the Apollo/Saturn V Rocket that returned to Earth; the command module and Apollo astronauts returned to earth via splashdowns in the South Pacific Ocean. Besides providing living quarters for three astronauts throughout an Apollo mission, this module needed to serve as a combination spacecraft, reentry vehicle, and boat. The Apollo Lunar Module (LM) was a two-stage vehicle designed by Grumman to ferry two astronauts from lunar orbit to the lunar surface and back. The upper ascent stage consisted of a pressurized crew compartment, equipment areas, and an ascent rocket engine. The lower descent stage had the landing gear and contained the descent rocket engine and lunar surface experiments.
LM 2 was built for a second unmanned Earth-orbit test flight. Because the test flight of LM 1, named Apollo 5, was so successful, a second mission was deemed unnecessary. LM-2 was used for ground testing prior to the first successful Moon-landing mission. In 1970 the ascent stage of LM-2 spent several months on display at the "Expo '70" in Osaka, Japan. When it returned to the United States, it was reunited with its descent stage, modified to appear like the Apollo 11 Lunar Module "Eagle," and transferred to the Smithsonian for display.
