quite happy with this but just couldn't get it clean without the reflection, but this was the best of the bunch!

In altered photo 1, I used the radial gradient feature to adjust the flower petals from a yellow color to a pinkish orange color by changing the tint to 100, saturation to 56 and playing with the hue. I copied these settings and applied it to each flower. Then I altered the texture in the top 1/3 of the photo by using the linear gradient feature. I also altered the bottom 1/3 of the photo by playing with the dehaze. Lastly, I applied a light vignette of 100 to the overall photo.
In this photo, the flower petals became the focus by brightening the petal colors. I feel like the dehaze feature changed some of the stem colors to a blueish color which I quite liked. They appeared to be reflecting the sky or showing the water source to each flower. The light vignette gave me a nostalgic feeling.
I didn't go into the alteration’s assignment with a set plan. The adjustments were made as I played with the various settings. I think this week I explored a bit more with altering my focal point, framing, accentuating features. While not having a plan was helpful, it may have hindered my time or creativity a bit. I played with various setting a few times before discarding an image and starting over. If I had made a plan, then I could have pushed myself to stretch my skillset to apply the techniques I was looking to use. However, by not having a plan, though it did require extra time spent on the task, I was able to try different techniques that I might not have learned otherwise.
I do wish I would have played a bit more in the thirds of this photo to try and push the envelope a little more. While the image does give a different look to the original photo, I think spending more time and adding more alterations might enhance the photo further. Still, I am pleased with my work during this module’s assignment as the final result is an artistic alteration I would have never considered and changes the photo in a way that makes it feel like a keepsake photo or a unique way to document the day or a moment in time.
That is certainly an aspect of this digital photography course that I have enjoyed and provides me with a different outlook for an ordinary photo and the possibilities of enhancements that could be made.

I've always been fascinated by Typography and signs. As I was chating on facebook with some of my friends, i realized my humour and jokes weren't always clearly understood by some of them. I can be very sarcastic and once you take the voice and face out of it, it is not always easy to pass this bad humour when only writing it. so i decided to create a new Typographic sign that would represent sarcasm. Here are the parts of letter I chose to create my sign.
I chose three fonts representing the most important typographic families to be sure it would work with any one of them.
