Overhead Strobe w/diffuser
The photos in this set are part of a series of lighting experiments I did in the studio. I worked with a great model and learned more about the gear. I wanted to see how the light looked on her body. I found significant differences with subtle changes to the lighting technique. I didn't plan on publishing the photos but thought they came out great. Plus Dina is a very expressive model.
Whilst deciding how to complete my Final Project set, I thought I'd revisit my flower/flash combo. Still not convinced I've got it spot on.
My settings were:
Nikon D100 105mm lens, manual
1/60, f4.5, Flash on rear sync at +0.3
MSF module extracted from a broken radio controlled clock. I will try and connect it to an arduino later.
Module homemade 3 x "stepdown" converters, +9V (to UA7805) +9V (to transistor Q42 Bias PA VHF) +9V (to transistor Q43 Bias PA UHF) power up
