In a fantastic display of foresight, the sound mixer (it adjust the volume and modulation of the band's mikes and instruments) was located at the edge of the bar, away of the stage. How many times have I seen someone tryin' to get around the band to adjust one of these on stage?!

The Spell-Maker/Breaker
The TetraSeed of Every Experience
The Spell-Maker/Breaker uses an incantation composed of the elements of the TetraSeed — Attending, Imagining, Intending, and Remembering — either to construct or deconstruct an experience. “Construct”is another word for, “manifest”.
In constructing or deconstructing, order makes a difference.
CONSTRUCTING
To construct (create the subtle underpinning of) an experience, you use the following order:
First, you identify the desired experience, to yourself (e.g., personal integrity). Putting your attention of the feeling of it, you repeat:
Thusly:
Attending to imagining personal integrity.
Imagining intending personal integrity.
Intending remembering personal integrity.
Remembering attending to personal integrity.
You continue cycling until you get the feeling of the intended result.
DECONSTRUCTING
To deconstruct (dissolve the subtle underpinning of) an experience, you use the following order:
First, you identify the resisted experience, to yourself (e.g., falsehood). Putting your attention of the feeling of it, you repeat:
Thusly:
Attending to remembering falsehood.
Remembering intending falsehood.
Intending imagining falsehood.
Imagining attending to falsehood.
Incantation involves repetition. You cycle through the four elements repeatedly until you clear up confusion and internal contradiction and you get either an immediate experience of the desired condition — or — all charge on the condition disappears and you are left with the experience of voidness.
The experience of voidness is not a sign of failure. It’s a sign that you have removed all contradiction or internal opposition. Internal opposition is what gives the sense of substantiality to an experience. Without opposition, experience is experienced as no-experience — or voidness. Voidness is the essence of ones natural or original state.

The goal was to use post processing to isolate the statue. Freeman says with the modulation entirely in tone, the eye pays more attention to texture, line, and shape. Having taken this image in the evening, I thought this was a good candidate for post processing in black and white so that the statue would really stand out from the background with the obvious tonal contrast. I also used a bit of a vignette to further pull the eye in. I think the darker tones keep the eye coming back to the statue, even though it is looking off to the side. I adjusted levels, vibrance, saturation, brightness, and contrast, converted to black and white, cropped, and added a vignette.
