This is a test run I built for a pendant light design. The acrylic shade is meant to represent a thick cast glass, while the black center shade is meant to represent a blackened steel plate.
The cast glass, which will be used in the "real" version, is meant to give the light a hand made feel, as is the blackened steel. Such materials are yet to be procured. If anyone knows of a glass artist in San Francisco that can make cast glass, let me know!

I wanted to share this with you. After a great day with Nana today for a little visit. She seemed a bit off but she hasnt been feeling well as of late...not sure what it is but she made us a nice lunch and my requisite chocolate chip cookies...you can have one (im temping you...)
