Shot by Michael Weiland with a Palm Clix keychain camera with .333 megapixel resolution. I got a neat accidental color reflection on the lamp.
My wife suggested this as a subject for a close-up photo. I shot several lighting setups and liked this one the best...

This image is a screen grab from the "sold" lamp section of one of those random mid-century dealers you find online. I have not seen this version before and I must say the colors, composition and scale of this lamp make it the best ever heifetz lamp in my opinion......if you find one please let me know, thx

Unusual Laurel Lamp Co. lamp!
Departure from most everything else Laurel Lamp did. Still bears label.
Great accent lighting, bar lighting, tucked just about anywhere.
LVL thinks it would also be brilliant in a nursery!
SOLD
I thought this lamp was designed by Gerald Thurston. I got the idea from 1st dibs. This morning, however, I came across a photo attributing it to the designer Paul McCobb. Does any one know whether it is Thurston or McCobb? Thanks!

The framed photograph is by George Yerkovich, a local psychiatrist and accomplished photographer. The photo shows a hillside in Ottowa County at dusk with a herd of cattle. There is another of Dr. Yerkovich's photos behind the green boomerang of a couch. It is a storm front moving over a wheat field in western Saline County, Kansas.
The thing behind the lamp is the Goddess of Deligt. (No 'h") We hang our keys on her hooks. We found her at the Smoky Hill River Festival one summer. I'm not sure that we would have bought this piece, except for the fact that her name was misspelled. "Look, dear. It's the Goddess of De-Licked (phonetic spelling)" That's what we still call her.
