Improvised night shot walking home from cinema the other evening, sitting camera on a railing by the Union Canal, looking towards the new Boroughmuir High School, with the dark foreground being an empty site, last part of the former S&N Brewery site waiting to be redeveloped.

Here's a night shot taken from almost the same vantage point back in 2008 - the foreground was just an empty lot then too as much of the brewery had been cleared already, but you can see a few of the brewery buildings still there, waiting to be demolished: www.flickr.com/photos/woolamaloo_gazette/3000833288/

Another few years and I imagine that last bit of brownfield site in the foreground will be built on too and this view will change once more.
