Last year Tesla introduced the Model X in Europe. It's an all-electric crossover model with 6 or 7 seats. This one has a "E" registration plate that is now available in Germany for (partly) electric cars.

As promised I made a bigger version of the Tesla Model X with LEGO bricks.
I think, that this model is also doable with real bricks, although you have to keep in mind, that some stuff has to be changed to make it work / more stable (like the falcon wing doors) or that some bricks aren't available in certain colors.
I will also try to add more functions to the model, if it is possible (I tried to include a 3rd seat row for example, but it didn't really work out so far).
I used the LEGO Digital Designer (ver. 4.3.9) and bluerender (ver. 0005) from msx80 with modified files from bublible to make this car. In its current form the model has 1482 parts (the number will be different when I change something in the model of course).

It looks like in 2018 Tesla outsold brands like Mazda and Fiat in the Netherlands. From January 1st the fiscal advantages for more expensive electric company cars will be lower. So a lot of people bought their Tesla this year.

Tesla has a quite good success in China thanks to massive incentives from authorities for the EV cars.
The Model X is sold for 754.400 to 1.502.700 RMB (about €95.900-191.000 or US $111.900-222.900).
This one got the all-new license plates dedicated to EV and plug-in hybrid vehicles, using a green color. These new license plates are used only in Shanghai, Nanjing, Wuxi (Jiangsu), Jinan (Shandong), and Shenzhen (Guangdong).
Tesla has set up a network of superschargers where Tesla owners can charge their car during a longer trip. This is a Model X using one of these in a parking lot in Oosterhout.

In 2013 Tesla opened a showroom in the high-end P.C. Hooftstraat in Amsterdam. On display the Model X with its interesting falcon-doors. So far this year more than 1,000 Model X's have been sold here, bringing Tesla sales to a new record high.

So finally I spotted a Model X.
It's big and high car, but I like it. I have the same feeling as the first Tesla. The first few months I'll still be like "wow nice a Tesla, but eventually they will become "normal", since they sell good in NL"
A 2011 Tesla Roadster Sport and a 2016 Model X outside the Tesla Store in Amsterdam. Quite a difference in size...
