One of the many innovations integrated in the Model X are the Falcon Wing doors that allwo entrance to the rear seats without bending over, even for taller people.
The key here is the second hinge inside the door (and not just at the roof), which folds the door slightly while moving allowing for it to open in very tight spaces.

We tricked out this @tesla #modelx with @suntek #ceramicir window film all around for complete heat rejection as well as provided a satin black out package using @averydennison vinyl and accented her with custom #burntcopper calipers to stand out. We also performed a gorgeous stage 3 paint correction getting out the imperfections and swirl marks and making her better than new and then we locked in this perfection and increased the value of the vehicle with @ceramicprousa who are the leaders in #ceramiccoating which is going to make it easy to maintain for years to come 💎

It’s here! It’s finally here! After about two years of saving, I finally have a Tesla once again, and this thing is so, ridiculously, cool. It has auto pilot, falcon wing doors, a 0-60 in the realm of 4.8 seconds (this is an SUV, btw), and so much more. When I walk up to the car, for example, the door opens automatically as I approach. Then it closes when I put my foot on the brake. So ridiculous, and yet so awesome.
Emily and I got up extra early and drove to Dallas to pick it up. We met Reid at the service center. He did a fantastic job of showing us around the car, explaining the bells and whistles, and letting me be super stoked about everything. Emily took the Fiat home (sorry dear) while I got to enjoy my first trip in the new X. I beat Emily home by a few minutes and saw our neighbor Susan outside. I couldn’t help showing off the car–I was really excited. Luckily she knew what it was and got all giddy about it. Thanks Susan! When Emily got home, we immediately loaded it up with her craft show gear and drove to Argyle for the Kimzey’s Fall Fest thing.
While the show was a bit of a bust, the car was a champ! It held all the things, and drove like a dream. We played with autopilot a little on the back and forth there. At this point we’d burned through a good chunk of the battery, so we supercharged and ate Villa Grande for dinner. Once we were out of there, we changed into our Halloween costumes and drove back to Dallas for Nina and Scott’s party, which was a blast! As usual, the place was decked out with amazing decorations–this year had a carnival theme in honor of IT. Emily and I dressed as characters from Zoolander. She finally got to wear her Katinka Ingagbagovananana costume, and I stuck my hand in a clear container with string lights in it and called myself JP Prewitt, the best hand model who ever lived. Of course we showed the car to a few people, but mostly we just enjoyed the party. It was great! I am SO wiped out now.
I am sure that every model will never forget the times we had together during the shows in ModelX Agency and this photo was taken in order to leave another memory. In the photo there are some of the models but I'm sure everyone will take this agency in their hearts.
