I was looking at some of Annie Liebovitz's work for Vanity Fair where she had a Film Noir theme but shot in color rather than B&W. I looked over a similar theme that I shot and tried it.

B800 in a large octa, camera left, f/8 (it is a little low IMO - a mistake I make all too often - but in this case I was concerned with getting light under her hair so as not to shade too much the opposite eye).
