The scorpion has thinnered legs, and the stag beetle has eyes.
The original photos of the stag beetle weren't good at all, but I wanted to wait for the right time to take new ones, which was now.

Fellow model maker Steve was running his cute little steam launch on the museum pond and the condensate was showing up well in the cold air. If you look closely you can see traces of ice on the water, certainly a chilly day!
