1/100 scale None Grade Gunpla Model
This was my first try using a pin-vise on a kit, and also did a couple of custom panel line here and there.
The Aoshima MGB. This was the rubber bumper version, which conveniently includes all the bits to make the chrome version! I did a few modifications to replicate the one in our garage, an early 70’s “black grille” model, and did a quick and dirty LHD conversion as well. I think it turned out pretty good!
I've assembled several Gundam model kits before but this was the first time I took it a bit further than just piecing it together. I went in and did some basic paint work and line detailing. unfortunately there is a piece missing from the forehead assembly and one of the "spikes" of the yellow part in the forehead assembly has been broken off due to transportation and storage. I had put this together a while back and moved since then. Just recently I had the urge to do more with it and gave it a proper photo session. Since it is a little damaged, I'm thinking of making it into a battle damaged project in the near future.
The set up I used was 2 desk lamps, a couple of soft boxes that I fashioned out of cardboard and the tissue paper usually used to stuff gift bags, and a flat black poster board that I smeared gold glitter craft glue on.

Mecha Monday: MPD Type 07-III Special vehicle Patrol Nacchin
First time ever building a mech, the last couple of photos are the some of the reference images I used to replicate the model kit. I have recently been enjoying watching multiple gundam shows, which lead me onto the gunpla model kits. Picked up a couple of kits are to finding reviews on @zakuaurelius YouTube channel. One of the kits that was reviewed was the Nacchin tank. The design caught my eye so I figured let’s have a go!
I used the gunpla kits I picked up last year as reference for articulation ideas while rewatching the YouTube review aswell and I’m super stoked with the result. Even managed to articulate it in such a way that it can balance on one cheese slope foot!

I'm a bit confused about the color of his jacket. The box art shows a color similar to this but the color guide shows it's off white. I Googled for his uniform and I get the same confusing results. If someone can tell me what color is Gen. Rommel's jacket actually is, I'd be grateful.
