I've assembled several Gundam model kits before but this was the first time I took it a bit further than just piecing it together. I went in and did some basic paint work and line detailing. unfortunately there is a piece missing from the forehead assembly and one of the "spikes" of the yellow part in the forehead assembly has been broken off due to transportation and storage. I had put this together a while back and moved since then. Just recently I had the urge to do more with it and gave it a proper photo session. Since it is a little damaged, I'm thinking of making it into a battle damaged project in the near future.
The set up I used was 2 desk lamps, a couple of soft boxes that I fashioned out of cardboard and the tissue paper usually used to stuff gift bags, and a flat black poster board that I smeared gold glitter craft glue on.

This is an unbuilt kit from the 1960s. I think part of the reason I never got around to this one was that you had to decide which version to build. The fact that the Navy version never made it to production actually made the decision more difficult.

This box is a ringer. I never actually owned this kit, or even saw one. I got the box cover from them with some kits I mail ordered in the mid-1960s, and put it over another box that I had. You can see the creases in the cover where it was folded.
