This is also a photo that I took a long time ago, but did not provide technical data and explanation about the lighting setup at the time.
Location: small mountain Eindhoven la condenseur. A nice attractive restaurant, where you can dine in a cozy and atmospheric manner for a friend's price.
The beauty of this location is that they have a glass extension, I stand for the extension and the model is to the left of the extension. In this photo I had to photograph through two windows, which caused me to get the reflection from the street behind me, on the right you see the reflection of myself and through the windows you see the model. Behind her is a dark purple wall, which makes the model stand out in the dark whole in this photo.
In this kind of shoot I use all the elements that a location has to offer, in a random city we walk around and see if we can use lines, textures, reflections, rhythms and alleys, all 'simple' things where you as a photographer.

Working on location, as if it were a photo studio.
On the right side we have a large building, which blocks the direct sunlight, and behind her on the left is the Klokgebouw, which works as a reflector and provides a hairlight for both her hair and her right arm.
At the right front, light shines along the building, illuminating her face.
I am standing on the shadow side of her face, the shadow creates depth in the photo on the one hand, but also atmosphere on the other.
Even though I have no control over the sunlight, I can translate everything back to how I would have placed my studio lights in a studio.
On location, it is mainly the art of learning to see and analyzing how light and shadow work. Actually it's not difficult, if I can do it, anyone can.

Location: Art hotel in Eindhoven.
This photo comes from 3 sides of daylight through windows into the building, rear right and left back ensures that Nico is provided with profielicht so that he is free from the background, left for daylight through another window inside which ensures that his face well is highlighted.
It is a simple pose and a simple setting where the vase with the flower is a beautiful detail in the photo.
I have given this photo a more cinematic atmosphere by playing with the color balance.
