As America takes pause to spend time with family and give thanks for the fact that we can over-eat in this country, Mr Hendricks and Mr Patchett would like to give thanks for all those who work to preserve our cultural heritage.
Thanks to all who bring important buildings like the Bosler House back to life. Thanks to those who restore furniture and early appliances. Thanks to those folks who keep “retro” fashions of all kinds in the public imagination. Thanks to those who keep the memory of orphan car brands alive and the people who still know how to keep them running. Thanks to the skillful Chinese craftsmen who made the models we photograph in order to take you on our nostalgic time travel adventures.
Thanks to all of you for the kind comments and views you have given us over the past couple of years.

Another photo I made a long time ago, but still appeals to me.
Location: Den Bosch, Hinthamerstraat, the hospital gate.
Den Bosch offers many opportunities for photographers, especially the center has many beautiful locations that you can use as a backdrop when doing a shoot.
The wooden texture of the gate determines the atmosphere at this picture. In this picture we are on the shady side of the gate, even though you can still play well with the balance between light / shadow.
I also made narrower this picture in height to enhance the viewing direction of her extra.
If you're going to see such a city as being a photographer, where you look at texture, lines, structures and relationship between light / shadow, you in a different way you go look around.

Leica fashion photography / Model Photography on location - Katie, London
The little CV Skopar is a fantastic lens. Yesterday in London I shot almost the entire day using my CV Skopar 35f2.5 ii and when the light levels were too low, my CV Nikoton 40f1.4. Both lenses are tiny yet mighty and once my M2 arrives I with have a super compact Leica camera bag for travel setup for both film and digital

When all the puzzle pieces fall into place, you are back in the picture. A relaxed, easygoing pose and an expression that completes the picture.

When looking for a beautiful setting to take photos, there are several elements that I as a photographer pay attention to.
Elements that you can find in this photo are, for example, creating a rhythm, working with depth in a photo, depth in this photo is not only created by the seats behind the model, the seat in the foreground has the function as ( repoussoir), a repoussoir was already used in painting, by placing an object in the foreground, you will intensify the depth.
Although it is a nice convenient location, this photo is about the model. I looked at whether a repetition could be created. A nice match was the combination of the color of the chairs and the red in her clothes.
Furthermore, a beautiful powerful pose, with which she can influence the balance between light and shadow in the photo.
And then the picture is finished for me.
Thanks for stopping by and view this photo. The reason for posting this photo on Flickr is to learn so if you have constructive feedback regarding what I could do better and / or what I should try, drop me a note I would love to hear your input.
