I widened the rail bed a stud each side, making it 14 studs wide in total. The white-handled bar is for pushing the table round, the metallic grey one locks and unlocks the table, to prevent or enable rotation. It is intended for this actually to work, in real brick. See previous image for details of the mechanism.
