This was my project to use a vintage 120 roll film camera with 35mm film.

Once winding stopped we need to retreive the film. In roll camera the backing paper would re seal the film and you would remove the exposed film now wound round the previously empty spool but we don't have that luxury. Luckily I've a light sealed changing bag so I popped the camera in opened it up and rewound the film myself. If you don't have pone or a dark room other folk have done in darkened rooms under lots of coats and/or duvets

Now off to a photo lab who can do sprockets

Because I did not pay enough attention while exporting the gts file from AoI (being distracted by a fascinating girl) the extruder crashed into the surface about 1cm deep. after that I had troubles extruding and on a closer look I noticed that the heating barrel had become loose or somehow unscrewed itself. But then it was already too late and the M6 winding in the PTFE was full of molten ABS.

So we had to make a new one :(

The only real drawback with the modded CNC approach for repstrapping (we are aiming for Darwin) is that it has way too much power for what we actually want to do. But hey, nothing is perfect unless you printed it yourself - which is just what we're going to do *evil scientist laughter*

Ball from my SkypeHug project

I took between a 16th to an 8th off of each cheek to age her and added some features here and there. she doesn't seem as happy go lucky any more, that was the goal but I feel bad

Converting an ADB SoundBox to NON-ADB, using a modified PS2 connector.

I modded my Maverick to allow the barrel to swing out further. I've also sanded down the logos; the black mark on the side of the slide is one of them. The mark won't matter much, as I plan to paint the whole gun black anyway.

added a 1.8 female sync port to my SB600 so that i could use radio triggers such as pocket wizards/Cactus/Cybersync etc

got to learn a lot about working on these and defintitely not as scared to tear one of these apart in the future if they fail or need repair.

Full view slightly from left

A shot of the side fans. When the projector is in place, these are basically hidden by the wall. This is unfortunate, since I went through a lot of work to make them look good. Ah well.

I have opened the eyes of my "o"/yawning faceplate a little more. I found that the yes did not show as much as I liked. Hopefully, I can make a sexy yet not trashy faceup for her. Otherwise, I will fill a professionnal artist to paint her.

This was my project to use a vintage 120 roll film camera with 35mm film.

I'm using the bencini in part as it's film grooves actually hold a 35mm film canister very firmly and there is no actual need for a sprocket on this side of the camera unlike some other roll cameras. If you're trying this ion another camera google things. Most of the time you just need to come up with a way of securing the 35mm film canister without damaging the camera

Slater O’Brien’s Photo coverage of the first of many monthly Mid-Lincs mini modded meets!!

So, to start, what is ‘Mid-lincs mini meets’…mid-lincs mini meets is a lttle car club arranged by my friend for modified car enthusiasts in the South-lincs area to get together once a month, have a catch up, show off there cars & talk man talk!! With only a very small turnout at the first meet but we got what we expected attendance wise, with a modest 10 cars at most all of different styles from a rover 75 to a 2012 Scirrocco R!! With British weather at its best it changed as many times as you’d change your socks….gorgeous sun, to snow, to rain, thunder & hail the weather really doesn’t like us car folk does it To ease into we will be holding these meets once a month until summer when (numbers permitting) we’ll be having one every week!

On to the photos, i am pleased to say this will be my first photo post on LP & am very pleased with the overall images! Helped with a nice amount of metal to make the photos what they are! I also covered a little mini shoot whilst there with the pug 106 & the mx5!!

Anyways heres the images, hope you ejoy looking at them as much as i did taking them Looking forward to the next meet in mid May so watch this space
