On Friday, June 26, the Greensboro Hazardous Devices Team (bomb squad) was at Sumner Civitan Park in Greensboro with their mobile command center to provide an overview of the responsibilities and tools of the Hazardous Devices Team to Cub Scouts from across the region. This team is responsible for the safe handling and disposal of explosive devices and materials that are encountered by other officers and citizens. The Team also conducts training for local industry in bomb search techniques.

These are interior pictures of a custom 24' aluminum SWAT van body built by TriVan Truck Body (Ferndale WA) for Bellingham Police Department. The body itself (shell, walls, roof, frame) plus all interior upfitting (custom bench-seats, pre-wiring, 110V and 12V electrical, lighting, whiteboards & aluminum cabinetry) were built by TriVan Truck Body. This trailer had dual pushout rooms. Each pushout was 12 feet long x 6'6" high and extended out 3' from the trailer. When both pushouts were fully deployed, a very spacious
14' x 12' command room was created
