Consumers Energy has developed two new specially equipped vehicles to help keep its safety promise to Michigan. The two mobile command centers were designed and outfitted to respond to any localized emergency the energy provider may face, as well as to support widespread storm restoration work.
This picture shows the interior of a 34' mobile incident command trailer that was manufactured by TriVan Truck Body for Douglas County Sheriffs Office Department of Emergency Management. It featured dual flush-floor pushout rooms, Onan generator, whiteboard finish cabinets, upper room for HNT and tactical dispatch, full bathroom, work stations, pre-wiring for voice and data, co-ax cabling and roof-mounted antennae and removable conference tables. The trailer was designed & manufactured, from the ground up, by TriVan Truck Body in Ferndale WA.

"Police confident in murder case"
"On April 2, Lak was found dead from gunshot wounds in his home at 1246 Eighth St. According to court documents, Lak was shot three times in the head and there were signs that a struggle occurred. Police received a report of shots fired, which included a description of a vehicle leaving the residence immediately following the gunfire. Officers saw the silver-green Pontiac Bonneville and tried to follow it. The car eventually crashed into a tree at the corner of Dewey and Henry avenues." (This is 6 blocks due east of my house. After work, I went off for a quick bike ride down North (usual route), and came across this scene. I grew up 2 blocks east, at 1247 Oak.)

On Friday, June 26, the Greensboro Hazardous Devices Team (bomb squad) was at Sumner Civitan Park in Greensboro with their mobile command center to provide an overview of the responsibilities and tools of the Hazardous Devices Team to Cub Scouts from across the region. This team is responsible for the safe handling and disposal of explosive devices and materials that are encountered by other officers and citizens. The Team also conducts training for local industry in bomb search techniques.

Clay county Sheriff's office Deputy Bill Sanchez helps Sergeant Rick Fray back the mobile command into the Clay County Sheriff's Office substation / Creekdale fire station after being used at the Mist mt fire Incident base since June 11 . Mist Mt fire caused by Lighting on June 09 is at 130,975 Acres in the Hazzard Range National Forest and 80 % contained . To date no structures have burned , and all evacuations have lifted for Dead end Canyon subdivision along with Mist Mt Incident base was at the old Hild ranch cabin on Mist Mt rd 12 overland miles north of Creekdale. Now it has been moved west to Sandy Hot Springs 19 miles overland from Creekdale .
