I saw this green bed of foliage in the grounds when I went for my morning walk that day. The grass blades were dotted with lovely rain drops and I had to resort to the help of my mobile phone to capture them !!! I felt the auto exposure of the mobile camera overexposed the drops. Anyway the green expanse is soothing and hence it is here.

The approaching Northern line train draws absolutely no attention from the waiting passenger, who looks down egrossed in his mobile device at Clapham North station.
Opened in 1900 as Clapham Road, as part of an extension of the City & South London Railway, Clapham North is one of two remaining stations on the London Underground network which have narrow island platforms. The other station being Clapham Common, one stop to the south.

2 years ago Anna almost lost her right hand to sepsis. She was very lucky. Her index finger still bears the marks of her fight with the infection and hurts every day.
