Pilatus PC-7 MKX HB-HHH in the static display at the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford on 19th July 2024.

The PC-7 MKX is an improved and modernised version of the PC-7 MkII. Based on the latter’s type certificate, Pilatus engineers made various upgrades to the design and some systems to ensure the success of this aircraft in the provision of basic training for military pilots.

Surviving Avro 683X Lancaster Mk.X KB944 code NA-P, on display in the Canada Aviation and Space Museum, Rockcliffe Airport, was part of the first production batch of 300 aircraft built by Victory Aircraft Limited, Malton, Ontario, Canada. Built in 1944, the aircraft was delivered to Britain in 1945.

In 1964, this aircraft was saved for preservation in wartime camouflage and marked to represent 428 Squadron, RCAF. This aircraft was the least modified of all the surviving Lancasters during RCAF post-war service.

SF57 MKX is a Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini new to First Glasgow in December 2007 as their number 37218. It is seen here on Argyle Street under the Hielanman's Umbrella whilst working service 1D (Mountblow-Osbourne Street).

The first MKX I've seen in the Netherlands. I quite like the Lincoln design the last years.

Scania N94UB Wright Solar branded for Black Cats. This vehicle based at Deptford is seen here on an X25 operated by Chester le Street depot. This odd working is due to a requirement for vehicles covering Metro Rail Replacements.

For 2019, Lincoln has renamed the MKX, The Nautilus. Still proudly built in Oakville, ON, at the Oakville Assembly Complex, this vehicle will be shipped to, and sold in, over 40 countries.

The Mark V was announced on 24 August 1979. A large update on the Mark IV, it was really a step between a facelift and a rebody. The Mark V differentiated itself from the Mark IV by having revised headlights with larger turn indicators incorporated (which now showed to the side too), a wider slatted grille said to be more aerodynamically efficient, a flattened roof, more glass area, slimmer C-pillars with revised vent covers, larger, slatted tail lights (on saloon models) and upgraded trim.

Improvements were also made to the engine range, with slight improvements to both fuel economy and power output compared to the Mk.IV, Ford also claimed improved corrosion protection.

The estate models combined the Mk IV's bodyshell (which was initially from the 1970 Ford Taunus) with Mk V front body pressings.

Variants included the Base, L, GL, and Ghia (all available in saloon and estate forms), together with Base and L spec 2-door sedan versions (this bodystyle was available up to Ghia V6 level on overseas markets).

S package

The replacement for the previous Mark IV S models was an S package of optional extras, which was available as an upgrade on most Mark V models from L trim level upwards. For the final model year of 1982, this consisted of front and rear bumper overriders, sports driving lamps, an S badge on the boot, tachometer, four-spoke steering wheel, revised suspension settings, front gas shock absorbers, Sports gear-lever knob, Sports road wheels, and fishnet Recaro sports seats (optional). Various special editions were announced, including the Calypso and Carousel.

This past September I had the privilege and the joy to attend the Spa Six Hours, an endurance race with historic cars but also a whole weekend full of classic cars racing activities, held at the famous Spa-Francorchamps race track in Belgium.

Together with my good friend, immaculate host and famous car loonie p e t e r m o o n s we had a wonderful time seeing, listening and photographing so many legends from the past, most of which I had never seen in flesh.

So from now on and for quite some time you're gonna see in my stream along with all the boring stuff some wonderful pieces of automotive sculpture, starting with this rare streamlined Lotus Mk X from 1955.

Type: Bolwell Mk X Nagari

Date: 13/10/2008

Location: Sydney Convention Centre Darling Harbour Sydney New South Wales

Notes: The 2008 Sydney International Motor Show. After its first release at the 2008 Melbourn Motor Show debut the Nagari was the return to production by Bolwell who were a well-known small volume kit car producer during was in the 1960's and 1970's. The cars are made using components from other mainstream manufacturers such as Ford, Holden and later Volkswagen, Toyota and Honda. The engine in the latest Nagari is a Toyota 2GR-FE V6 3.5 Liter unit and is mid mounted. There is an option to fit a Sprintex supercharger boosting power from 200 to 221kw (268 to 296 hp). The other obvious take from another manufacturer in this car is the tail lights that are from a Honda Integra. In terms of price a new Nagari will set you back $197,800 before the on-road costs and options as of today 2024 and is still available.

Operated by Aer Lingus from April 2013 to February 2016, this aircraft had previously been with Iberia as EC-KBJ. It returned to Spain and entered service with Vueling in April as EC-MKX.

Avro Lancaster Mk. X RCAF KB726 C-GVRA c/n 3414 s/n RCAF FM213 (1945)

The Museum's Lancaster Mk. X was built at Victory Aircraft, Malton in July 1945 and was later converted to a RCAF 10MR configuration. In 1952, it suffered a serious accident and received a replacement wing centre section from a Lancaster that had flown in combat over Germany. It served as a maritime patrol aircraft, with No. 405 Squadron, Greenwood, NS and No. 107 Rescue Unit, Torbay, Newfoundland for many years and was retired from the RCAF in late 1963. With help from the Sulley Foundation in 1977, it was acquired from the Royal Canadian Legion in Goderich, Ontario, where it had been on outside display. Eleven years passed before it was completely restored and flew again on September 24, 1988. The Lancaster is dedicated to the memory of P/O Andrew Mynarski and is referred to as the “Mynarski Memorial Lancaster”. It is painted in the colours of his aircraft KB726 – VR-A, which flew with RCAF No. 419 "Moose" Squadron. Andrew Mynarski won the Victoria Cross, the Commonwealth’s highest award for gallantry, on June 13, 1944, when his Lancaster was shot down in flames, by a German night fighter. As the bomber fell, he attempted to free the tail gunner trapped in the rear turret of the blazing and out of control aircraft. The tail gunner miraculously survived the crash and lived to tell the story, but sadly Andrew Mynarski died from his severe burns.

his whole outfit is his normal, with the head being sort of based off of the "Stripper" as the bane head was the only thing i could think of that would work for his head, which i tried and didn't like. but i like how the Mr incredible mask looks somewhat mad when you put something over his mouth.

heres probably my second favorite character from MKX, first being Tremor. i'll probably post him soon as i have a pretty good combo setup for him.

For now i am going to stick to MK9 and MKX characters, as they're the most relevant as of now. i have some parts ordered but i don't think any of them with complete any of my current wips but we will see.

I'd do an about section like i did with D'Vorah, but his wiki page doesn't seem to have one of those, oh well.

Parts: CMF Outlaw Hat and Legs, Mr Incredible Head, Boba Fett Cloth, Reversed Lando torso, and March Harriet Arms.

also, whenever i try and tag someone it tells me that person does not want to be tagged, anyone know the problem here?

Seen in Crawley, West Sussex.

Some quick updates, i found these small pieces of colored construction paper that i will be using until i can get bigger ones, i quite like the colors. i also followed Romans advice and decided to try and use natural lighting, it for sure wasn't fun but i think this turned out good with a little editing. but it could probably still use some advice if anyone ever has any.

Does anyone know how to change your name? i'm on mobile but can do it on computer if needed, i just feel it restricts me and i do not like it.

this is for sure an odd character to start off with but i just refinished the mkx storyline, saw that i had some good parts to make this fig, and decided why not.

I have some others coming like Erron Black, Raiden, Sub Zero, Jade, Skarlet, Reptile, Kitana, and Baraka.

Does anyone know a good head to use for Baraka? i haven't looked at BL yet but i hope there is something out there.

also does anyone want to be tagged in these photos? i usually tag people in my DC pics because it's a common interest, so let me know.

About D'Vorah: D'Vorah is a Kytinn, a species of colonial insects living inside humanoid bodies. Hailing from the Arnyek islands, D'Vorah's realm was conquered by Shao Kahn and she chose to serve the emperor to avoid becoming a slave. Rising in political power, D'Vorah now serves Kotal Kahn as his second in command and closest advisor, assisting him in the civil war against Mileena.

Departing for Blackburn Bus & Coach World today where Chris gave me a ride on it.

My entry to tacomaniac's contest.

Made Kotal Kahn cause he's a badass blue Aztec guy.

He is sculpted with green stuff and then painted with Micador. All the joints are movable, although slightly more limited than an average figure. His Macuahuitl is a BrickArms cricket bat and the spikes are made with green stuff. Its a tad dodgy as it was made at the last minute but anyway.

Hope you all like him, feedback, constructive criticism and suggestions are all greatly appreciated!

Lovely US-Spec! Lincolns are really rare to see in the old continent, happy to see a recent model!

More character from this end, although not necessarily a good thing. I'm sure we all like to see quite random 'modern' imports. This one seems to have been here since September 2018.

Well, i tried. Again, I'm a really big fan of MK, and I'm especially excited for MKX. Anyways, i tried to dry brush some ice colored paint onto his black gauntlets. Any suggestions on how I could improve ?

THIS GUY. Ok I started working on this guy a month ago. I put him aside because I didn't like the way he was turning out (and the arms I used broke). After the new ones came in, I started working on him again and he turned out great. Thoughts?
