With DTCL 56352 trailing the class 101 Metro-Cammell 2 car departs Weybourne for Holt. DMBS 51188 is leading.The DTCL was preserved by the National Railway Museum following withdrawl in 2000.This year has seen the interior seats reupholsterd. 51188 is on loan from the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway whilst repairs are carried out on DMBS 51228 and 51192.
Just playing with the new coat and some other pieces for fun. Body suit by Raccoondoll, Shoes by He-Meife (Ebay), handbag is a gift from Trish and is from the Zuru minis. Coat, scarf, trousers, lingerie and robe by me.
The Hydrangeas did very well this year, although in general the heads are smaller probably due to the hot summer.
Now some have been dried and form a lovely dash of colour in the room.
Hydrangea, the name, comes from the Greek words "hydro" or water, and "angeion," or vase = water vase, they prefer a lot of water.
A very ancient plant, found in fossils going back thousands of years.
Flower lovers will know that there is a flower language.
Every sentiment is expressed in one form or another by delicate blooms.
Of course, even the experts disagree on the "true meaning" of many flowers and most have different meanings to different people.
So, while all flowers convey thoughtfulness and love, a gift of flowers for a special someone will always create its own personal meaning, too.

Esmaltação das Corujas: Abril – Mix’n Match
Esse mês o tema sorteado pra esmaltação conjunta foi uma Mix n’ Match livre. Confesso que fiquei um pouco receosa por nunca ter feito uma, mas encarei como um desafio e no final das contas acabei amando!
Escolhi cores clássicas, que combinam bem entre si pra obter um resultado harmonioso, e acho que fui feliz porque preto e branco não tem erro!!rs

CSXT GP40WH-2 #9969 is quite an oddball of a unit. It's got an F45 cab and an SD45 carbody all on the frame of an ex-NYC GP40. In addition, the gyralight on top means that ditch lights are not required. CSX decided that they needed a locomotive with HEP to run on their geometry train, so they bought this from MARC, which had phased out its WH-2s by that time.
