Well, at the end of our trip to Missouri, we left, but as planned, the kids didn't come back to Madison with us. Instead, they're staying with the grandparents for 10 days.

On the one hand, it will be nice to spend a little child-free time with Liana. Take in a movie or three, possibly go on a few dates, spend a little bit of "together time". (wink wink nudge nudge say no more)

On the other hand, it's really hard to be without the kids for such a long period. I snapped this picture this morning as we were preparing to leave. I'm sure going to miss them, even if it is only for a week and half.

I am feeling the need to snuggle this week. I want to participate in Theme of the Week "Break up" ideas. Yet how can anyone feel sad or lonely with cute stuffed animals to cuddle with? I hope to have one for Th.

Suppose this could work for missing someone with the need for comfort. Yup--that does fit right into my life now.
