Sugar has been missing since the morning of 3/12 in Rochester (Gates), Ny

The glass is missing, and the reflector needs love. I also need to replace the fuse and the lightbulb of course. And perhaps some of the wireing.

No, button jars for the new craft room- which will be done in the next couple of months, hopefully, fingers xx'd!!

Scan of a series of 5 hand-printed photos. This is the way the photos were presented.

As a theme for the series I sought for images in which there was a feeling of absence: 'Missing'

The series was made for my photography classes at the UNSW - College of Fine Arts in Sydney, Australia (semester 1 2004)

Canons like this Howitzer were used by the Confederacy in the Civil War. Maybe if they used Howitzers that actually existed they would have fared a little better.

Dark sites like Great Basin sometimes provide you clouds that are indistinguishable in brightness from the night sky. The effect is that certain stars are just missing and it's really easy to get lost.

This ochre sea star (starfish) is missing one of its arms, there should be another arm in between the one pointing up and the one pointing right. I don't know if it was suffering from sea star wasting syndrome that is killing large numbers of sea stars on the Pacific coast. Multiple species of stars are affected but the ochre stars are the most visible since they are easily seen in the intertidal zone.

Its Saturday and my honey is working, so I am hanging out at the Mountain Cafe taking life easy.

I miss him so much that it hurts.

It’s only 1 month since daddy left us, but it feels like he has been gone for a year. I think about daddy every day, all the fun moments we had. I don’t know why daddy is gone, mom says it’s complicated and when daddy calls me we don’t talk about it. I can’t remember exactly where he is, but I know it’s 15.000 miles from here. I can’t wait to see him again and give him a big hug, but I have to wait for long time. When I’m crying mommy says that daddy will be home soon and everything is okay. But I don’t believe her. There are a lot of people who think that my dad can be evil sometimes, but that’s because he’s in pain. Mommy has told me a lot of times that daddy’s leg really hurts. I just think my daddy is cool. Because every time I fall and hurt my leg I start cry, but I have never seen daddy cry. Last time I saw daddy was in the airport, he gave me a hug and promised that he would come back. I’ve never cried that much before. Now I just hope that daddy will come home soon. The best thing about daddy is that he’s funny. He can always make me laugh and forget about the troubles. I hope I can go visit him soon… It’s hard to think that there’s 5 months left. Because I miss him so much that it hurts.
