As Meygan was drying from her hair treatment, I decided to photograph my babe in her outfit, she looks so mischievous in that outfit, I just adore it <3 the cat ears seem to have been made for her :D I just can't feel like giving back the wig to Tristen, it looks so good on her, you agree guys ?
This is one of three Tiger Cubs born at the Omaha Zoo. They are now about 8 weeks old. The other two were resting when we were there. This little one looked like double trouble.

ROID WEEK, FALL 2008 - DAY 5 - 31st October 2008
With it being Halloween it'll be Pumpkins galore today I'm sure. Here's a couple of good looking fellas I carved up this evening for Zabina8's little girl. Had a lot of fun fiddling.
Camera started playing up whilst shooting and wouldn't eject prints. Six shots lost from one precious film pack. Seemed to sort itself in the end.

We’re here are visiting something not quite right. On first glance it seems our resident Elf on a shelf, Bauble, has mastered the art of flight using these balloons. Hmmm, we have no helium in our house so maybe it’s Elf magic keeping him up. Took until about 3 in the afternoon when my daughter finally noticed the transparent nylon thread keeping him up. She decided that was all part of Bauble’s mischief.
I know that sounds a little presumptuous of me to call them "mine", but by now we've come to know each other fairly well. I'm the one that serves the food, and they are the ones that come and put on a show for me, and in between we get exited every time we encounter each other, at least that's how I feel every time I hear their familiar "chickadee-dee-dee" call!
Today our encounter was even more special, while I was trying to feed them by hand, one landed on my shoulder. The sound of its feeders so close was an incredible one.
I love all kinds of birds, but these ones for sure, a favorite of "mine..."

Recent research has suggested that Woodhouse's scrub jays, along with several other corvids, are among the most intelligent of animals. The brain-to-body mass ratio of adult scrub jays rivals that of chimpanzees and cetaceans, and is dwarfed only by that of humans. Scrub jays are also the only non-primate or non-dolphin shown to plan ahead for the future, which was previously thought of as a uniquely human trait. Other studies have shown that they can remember locations of over 200 food caches, as well as the food item in each cache and its rate of decay. To protect their caches from pilfering conspecifics, scrub-jays will choose locations out-of-sight of their competitors, or re-cache caches once they are alone, suggesting that they can take into account the perspective of others. This Indian little girl is my niece Aadrika who lives in a kind of wonderland with an enchanted mischievousness.
In this world she meets tigers, little dogs and dragons with amazing powers, some of them dance banghra and sing Bollywood songs, most of the little girls are princesses and they enjoy wearing too much of make-up while eating chocolate ice-creams and sometimes they even have to play hide and seek with a blue rabbit who is asking for a kiss in French as long as his batteries are working...
It is so pleasant to slide in this world of her own and to remember your own childhood.

Zooey... A true child inside, but also a serious and professional collector! She'd go to such lengths to obtain the precious feather she's after, no heights can stop her. But of course, she's not afraid of heights, clouds are her home after all.
But at least, could you pull that sock up?
